Gravel road heading towards Carne Village
The warm sun shined down on the group once more. Their journey had just started and yet an awkward silence seemed to have taken hold. The only sounds were that of the steel wheels of the cart grinding across the gravel and the horse that pulled it.

Ninya eventually spoke up to try and break the silence.

Ninya: This area is quite beautiful isn't it? The scenery is lush and filled with such gorgeous sights. Not to mention its peaceful, that's something you don't get in the city hahaha

No one laughed except Ninya, but Dimitri could at least appreciate the effort she put. He decided to take a step forward in fixing the atmosphere that he knew he ruined from last night and most likely from his outburst.

Dimitri: It is peaceful. It lets one reflect upon their past. It let me reflect on my actions

The group slowly came to a halt and the others looked at Dimitri somewhat awkwardly.

Dimitri: My outburst last night was uncalled for and so was what I did earlier yesterday. While it was simply a scare tactic to stop Lukrut from pestering Nabe, I can at least admit that I took it too far

Dimitri bowed to the five which surprised them and Nabe who stood beside her master.

Lukrut was the first to compose himself and scratched his head awkwardly while chuckling lightly.

Lukrut: I mean, i definitely haven't made things easy for either of you and for that I apologize as well

Lukrut bowed and after a few more apologizes the group ventured forward and the atmosphere seemed to have returned to normal, although it was obvious the group was still a bit distant from Dimitri. And they made sure to stay far away from any topics that may lead back to his or Nabe's personal life in fear of enraging the Warrior once again.

Ninya looked up at the mountain in the distance. It was actually quite a ways away however due to its sheer size it made seeing it not difficult at all for the group.

Ninya: You know, I've heard that there's a few frost dragons that live on the other size of the Azerlisia mountains

Dyne: Who knows, there could be hundreds potentially. I'm not sure how fast dragons breed but if there are any in those mountains than let's hope they stay up there

The others seemed to agree but Dimitri simply looked up at the mountain. He felt the overwhelming urge to face those dragons. To drag them out and rip them to shreds.

Dimitri knew if that was to happen he'd need to know more about them. The last thing he wants is to walk into the dragon's den and become the prey.

Dimitri: Ninya, do you happen to know anything about these dragons?

Ninya shook her head apologetically.

Ninya: Sorry. I don't really know. It's more so just a legend that they actually exist there. However if you'd like I'd be more than happy to check the local library back in E-Rantel after this job's done

Dimitri smiled and surprisingly patted Ninya's head. It didn't go unnoticed by the others when a slight blush crept up the mage's face. She felt like a little sister again.

Dimitri looked up at the mountains once more before continuing his journey. If dragons did exist they would soon come to learn that a new apex predator had arrived and that their spot on the top of the food chain would soon crumble beneath the titan that is the Monstrous Wolf.
