A Small Change (Wallace Wells x Scott Pilgrim)

A/N first time writing a fanfic so hopefully this will be good enough. i will post weekly since school and stuff. This takes place in an au where Scott and Ramona broke up. i hope u enjoy this book!! have a nice day/week/month/year 

SCOTT'S POV  

"H..e..y!" I could hear a faint voice in the background but couldn't make out what was said.

"Scott!" I sat up and my eyes shot open, light piercing in them which made me flinch and immediately close them again. I was feeling woozy, wanting to drift back off again. before I could process what was happening a hand was put forcefully on the table I was sleeping on, scaring me awake again.

"We're closing so u have to leave! now get the f*ck out" I look up to see Julie standing next to my table with a wet towel and an angry look on her face, we were in the café she's working in. "sorry I must've fallen asleep, my bad Julie" I say while slowing getting out of my chair and putting on my coat. "well have a nice night anyway Scott" she gives me a weak smile and gets back to cleaning the table. I head out the front door and started walking back to my hou- well Wallace's house. I could tell it was getting late , the streetlights were turned on and the sky began to get darker. 

 Snow was falling from the sky, it was the middle of December. Christmas lights were all over the city, lighting up every store and making them look more appealing. normally I never go out shopping but during this time I want to go in every store, even if I'm not planning on buying anything from them. the more I was walking the more tired I got. I don't remember when I fell asleep at the café, probably not that long ago because I'm getting sleepier the more meters I pass.

After 15 minutes I reached Wallace's place. I look in my pockets to find my key, eventually getting it out one of the pockets on my coat. I open the door and see Wallace standing in the kitchen drinking something out a cup. "Morning sleepyhead" he says with a cheeky tone. I raise an eyebrow "morning?" I ask. He laughs "Julie told me u fell asleep at the café". "oh right" I say forcing smile. I lay my coat on a chair and sit down. "You don't look so great, are you okay Scott?" Wallace asks me. I yawn "yeah I'm fine just tired". I look back at the kitchen where he was standing. "Maybe u should sleep then" he says sounding a bit concerned. Not so long after he said that I had drifted off.

WALLACE'S POV

Scott fell asleep. I could hear little snores coming from his direction. It was cute. Seeing him sitting and sleeping in my chair so peacefully. I could stare at him all night. I wish he knew how I felt about him, well maybe I don't wish that. He would probably leave if he did. Leaving me alone again.

After an hour I got into bed, it felt cold, it almost never felt cold. I was missing something. Before pulling the blanket over me I glance once again on the sleeping boy in my chair. I stood up and walked up to him. "God I want to hug and maybe even kiss him" i thought to myself staring at Scott. I tried waking him up, carefully pushing my fingers against his shoulder. "Hey Scott, wake up" . No answer. I push once again, now a bit harder. He wakes up groaning a bit. "Wal.. Wallace?" He says in a sleepy voice. "Come sleep in the bed, its warmer" I say. But that not want I meant. In fact I think sleeping on the chair was warmer since the heating was right next to it. I just wanted Scott next to me, but I couldn't tell him that.

"Oh yeah, I guess it would be warmer". He says. I walk back to the bed and Scott follows me while taking of his shirt. I look at him for a second and then quickly look away. He gets in bed next to me. I turn to face him, he was already facing my way. I blush lightly. "Goodnight Wallace" he says. "Goodnight Scott". After that he falls asleep. I just look at him, admiring him. I wasn't cold anymore, now the bed felt warmer and welcoming. It didn't take too long and I had drifted off, sleeping next to Scott.
