A Small Change (Wallace Wells x Scott Pilgrim)

IV

WALLACE'S POV

Me and Scott listened carefully to Matthew while he was explaining his plan. He said that i needed to set the alarm off. Which was easy because all i needed to do was run into the building and press one of the alarm buttons. Then Scott's job was fighting the exes. Matthew knew Scott had never fought all of them at the same time but he knew that he could do it. Then once half of the exes were defeated Matthew would fight Gideon. He was the only one out of us three that was able to dominate Gideon. With verbal or physical fighting. He had bested Gideon before but i didn't know what the actual reason behind the fight was, all i knew is that Gideon lost and he started dating Julie after that. Stacy knows how to get all the juicy info on things going on in the coffee shop.

After a short while we were back at G-man corps. I shared a quick hug with Scott. "Be okay Scott, please". He chuckled "I'm going to be better then okay, I'm going to be extra okay" he said. I smiled and then him and Matthew left, leaving me alone at the front door. I ran into the building and searched for one of the many alarm buttons. It took me 2 minutes to find one in the main hall. I was stunned to see that the building was empty. Or at least i didn't run into anyone. I pressed the button and my ears were filled (once again) with an ear raping sound. To my surprise the red lights that would normally turn on, were disabled. It made worry but getting caught setting of the alarm was a bigger concern right now.

SCOTT'S POV

I smiled when i hear the alarm go off. Wally did it. Matthew told me to break into vents and drop down to the where Ramona was being held captive. It didn't take long and i had found out where she was. I looked through the vent and saw them talking to each other. I decided taking down the twins and Roxie first was the best approach. I opened the vents and slipped down. I landed on top of Ramona's cage making a loud metal sound. "Scott pilgrim!" Roxie yelled. Quickly the twins started to form a battle pose together. Roxie had faded behind me and tried to punch me in the back but luckily i dodged it. I quickly turn around to punch her, i hit her in the face. "Aw fuck my nose!" She said. She tried to attack again but i jumped up. Even though it wasn't an intentional move it worked out because she flew head first into the twins. The all fell and dissolved into the air. "3 down" i said.

MATTHEW'S POV

I managed to see Gideon go into his office. I looked through the window. He was just standing there. Then he smirked. "I wish Matthew was here...." he said. That's when i decided to kick the door in. "Gideon!" I yelled. He jumped and dodged the door coming his way. "Matthew?? The fuck are you doing here?" He asked. "You swore to never start anything with the league again!" I said. "You fucking liar! I trusted you! I even gave you everything i stole from you back!". Gideon took a step back. "Matthew.. calm down.." he said. "CALM DOWN?! Are you out of your mind?". I summoned my demon hipster chicks. "Prepare to lose, again." Gideon gulped. "Fine.." he took out his sword. I send a fireball his way and he dodged it pretty easily. I commanded my girls to send fireballs with me. Gideon got hit in his left arm making him drop his sword. "Matthew please.. don't do this." He begged. "I won't kill you, i'm not the one to do that." He was confused. I took a gun out one of his drawers below the desk. I checked if it was loaded, it was. I pointed it at Gideon and said "follow me, Goose".

I took Gideon to the hall where Scott was fighting the exes. To my surprise he had taken out all of them. "Great job Scott. I have the big dog with me"  i said. Scott walked over to me and Gideon. I could see he was tired. "Where's Wallace?" He asked. "Outside probably" i said. "Okay, what do we do with.. him." He snared an nasty look towards Gideon. "Jail?" I said. Scott shook his head. "Someone will help him escape either way, we need to kill him" he said. "No no, i'm not going to kill him. Neither are you Scott.". Scott shook his head "he has to pay for everything he's done". I took a step back. Scott picked up the katana Roxie had dropped when he defeated her. "Scott..." Gideon said "turn around". Scott turned around and Gideon tried to walk toward him but i stopped him in his tracks. "Wow buddy, what are you planning to do?" i asked in a demanding tone. Gideon took a step back "there's a chip... under his hair". I kept pointing the gun at Gideon with my right hand and carefully lifted Scott hair up with my left. There was a red chip right under Scott hair, just above his neck. I took it out. Scott flinched and turned around "shit that hur- WHY ARE U POINTING A GUN AT GIDEON, WE'RE NOT KILLING HIM" he yelled. Gideon smirked for the billionth time. "that chip, it made him power hungry, it was supposed to be aimed towards you Matthew, but i guess i messed up on the programming" he chuckled. I dropped the gun "Gideon.. why did you do all of this again? the whole league.." i asked. Gideon sighed. "jealousy" he said. "you're jealous? of who? Ramona isn't dating anyone right now." i said. Gideon shook his head. "no i'm jealous of you Matthew...". 

I was shook. Scott didn't say anything, he just stood there taking everything in. "Me?" i asked. Gideon started to tear up. I put a hand on his left shoulder and then the other on his right. "why?". Gideon looked down. "You were always my number one supporter, you always had my back and i was so sad when u left the league for your theatre career.." he said "I guess is was jealous of you being able to move on." I could feel myself starting to cry. "The fact is, i never really moved on i've thought of the league every night. But i couldn't stay, i left for Ramona's sake. She couldn't take it anymore." i said looking at Scott. He smiled. Gideon was sobbing. "Matthew, thank you." He said. I hugged him. "Promise me you won't do anything like this again?" I asked. He nodded "i promise".

SCOTT'S POV

Matthew and Gideon shared a hug and it reminded me of Wallace. I still need to go back to him. I left the building through the front door. I looked around for him but he was nowhere to be found. "He probably went home" i said. Since i already knew the way to Wallace's home i started to walk. It took me 30 minutes. I didn't have a key so i knocked. Wallace opened the door and i ran into his arms. He closed his arms around me securing me in a tight hug. He was wearing a bathrobe, a blue one. I broke the hug and asked "Why are you wearing this?". He smiled "i was going to shower but i guess that plan was stopped by you." I laughed "go shower Wally". "No, you're home now. Beside you need a shower more than me" he said. "Hey! I can't help getting kidnapped by Gideon.". He responded "lets take a shower together then". I could feel my face getting hot. "I'm kidding of course" he said. "I- i wouldn't m-mind" i said. He raised an eyebrow "you wouldn't? Alright lets go then". He went to walk to the bathroom but i took his hand. "Before that i still want to do this". I pulled him into a kiss. Our lips collided together. He had his arms around my next and i pulled him in further with my arm around his waist. He pulled away "i love you Scott" he said. "I love you too Wally". He then hugged me tight. I smiled.

WALLACE'S POV

I was happy. I had kissed Scott and told him how i felt. I so glad he felt the same. I don't how to feel about the fact that he agreed to shower with me but i'll see how it plays out. "So.." he said. "So what?" I asked. He started to stutter "did y-you still w-want to s-shower-r?". I smiled "but of course, you need to be cleaned". He nodded. I took my bathrobe off and helped Scott with his clothes. First i took his shirt off then his pants. He was now just like me, socks and underwear. We made eye contact but it was broken by Scott glancing at the bed and then looking back at me. "Do you..." he said. "Well do you?.." i asked. He gave me an unsure look. I put my hand on his cheek "its okay if you don't, besides i'm not sure i want to myself". He took my hand and dragged me into the bathroom. "Take a shower, with me" he said. He sounded really determent that he wanted to do this. I nodded and turned the shower on.

SCOTT'S POV

Wallace might think i'm crazy but i've always wanted to do something like this with him. Even if it was just kissing or hugging i wanted to do it with him. I took my socks and boxers off. Wallace did as well. He stepped into the shower and the hot water fell on his hair making it look silly. I laughed and stepped in the shower. I wasn't wierded out in any way. I was happy actually but being this close with Wallace made my face hot. After all, we were both naked in a hot steamy shower. "Turn around Scott" he said. And so i turned around. I could hear the sound of a bottle being opened and then i felt Wallace's hands caressing my back with soap. It felt nice. After he was done i told him to turn around and i washed his back. "That feels funny" he said and i responded with "it does". We washed the rest ourself to make it less awkward. Once i was done i stepped out the shower and grabbed a towel, i handed it to Wallace. He turned the shower off and took the towel. "Thanks Scott". I grabbed a towel for myself as well. We dried ourself and i left the bathroom. I was still naked but i didn't care, i just straight up hopped into bed. After a short while Wallace stepped into the room. He was wearing some blue pj's. I gestured that he should get into the bed too. He did. Once he was in the bed i grabbed him and pulled him close. We were spooning and i was the big spoon. "I'm tired Scott, can we sleep?". I said yes and he turned the light off. "Hey don't go to bed without kissing me goodnight!" I said. He turned around and kisses me on the lips. "Thank you, goodnight Wally". He smiled and hugged me. His head was in my chest. "Goodnight Scott. I love you". "I love you too". We drifted off together.
