Hey everyone!

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who's read this story so far. I'm always happy to be able to write something other's may enjoy as much as I enjoy reading other people's stories!

As you can probably tell, this isn't an update. In fact, it's been some time since I last updated, which I feel a bit bad for.

Since I've started working full-time in addition to going to school, plus dealing with some chronic health issues, I've practically been busy 24/7. Adult life has hit me full force ig, which is a bit stressful, but also kind of something I expected to happen.

Now, this isn't me saying I'll be ditching this book completely. I've been pretty happy with how it has turned out so far and have honestly grown a bit attached to it, so it'll definitely be continued at some point.

I did attempt to write a chapter recently, but noticed quite quickly that the quality had decreased a whole lot, so I decided I'd rather wait a bit longer to get my motivation back than publish something I can't be proud of. I'm actively working on getting to a better place in life again, though it's taking a lot of energy out of me.

As someone who also hates thinking a book I read has been updated just to be hit by the "Author's note" title, I hope I didn't raise anyone's expectations. I didn't want to just drop of the face of earth without giving any sort of explanation to anyone.

So yeah, thanks again to everyone who's been keeping up with my story line so far. I've especially enjoyed reading any comments left on this book, just the thought that someone reading this thing cares enough to actually want to engage with it makes me super happy!

When it comes to fanfics, this is one of the first few I've ever written, as I usually tend to be more of an original short stories type of guy.

Writing for characters that already exist and aren't your own is really difficult, since you have to devote a lot of thought to keeping them in-character, no matter what situation they're put into. I applaud anyone who manages to stick to a character's personality traits and behavioural patterns while still creating something original and new.

Anyway, enough yapping on my part! Since I've been trying to get back into watching shows, I'd be curious to know what anime you guys are currently into. Please do feel free to leave some recommendations, I'm starving and in dire need of some good food ˙ᵕ˙
