(author's note: short update, sorry)Ryujin had her first fight. Well, first real fight. She even got punched. Which sucked but was very exciting at the same time. Except she had a busted nose, but luckily no broken bones. And that required an explanation to everyone, so she claimed to have walked into a light pole outside. Weirdly everyone just accepted it as something likely to happen to her. Ryujin was slightly insulted but she decided to take it as a good thing. And an offense.
Either way, she had accidentally walked in on a robbery. Burglary? Whichever designation it was for when someone breaks into your house and steals things. Yeji would for sure know the word for it.
Honestly, she hadn't planned to be there. Ryujin was actually experimenting with using her webs as a swing to move between buildings when the goosebumps warned her that something was wrong. Her sticking useful to crawl near a window and see the man ransacking through the living room before Ryujin busted through the window and fought him off. But not before she got hit a few too many times.
"Are you okay?" Yeji seemed worried, but that was likely due to the very visible cut on the bridge of her nose. The girl had been one of the few who had yet to ask about it. Waiting for their walk home after school to question her wound.
Ryujin shrugged, avoiding looking her way. "You should see the other guy." she joked. Despite the fact the other guy was actually not that bruised up, even if she had won the fight. She had hardly hit him, at least not somewhere that left a bruise or cut such as the one she had. But he did end up stuck to a wall with webs and then left the building in handcuffs. So justice had been made.
"Okay Captain America. You're not inspiring much macho I will protect you vibes for a walking partner."
"Okay, so maybe this hurt my image a bit." she started, moving her hands around to explain. "But then again, is anyone going to try their luck against someone who looks like they were in a fight recently?"
"No? I don't know. Maybe not?" Yeji let out, jokingly but still making a mockery of her reputation. Luckily it was already nonexistent.
"You hurt me, deeply. Right here, deep in the middle of my emotionally vulnerable heart."
Yeji could only roll her eyes and laugh. They had began to understand each other's humor. And Ryujin even if still awkward, felt more at ease with showing her dorky side. Something that made her feel a bit more comfortable and made for an easy going conversation. Although if the conversation got serious she would surely struggle, humor making up for how nervous she would be around Yeji.
Joking with Yeji was one thing, but maintaining eye contact or even speaking normally with her still had Ryujin feeling nervous. As long as she used humor, it felt like she had a protection. She could just be silly and everything would be okay. But as soon as Yeji would look directly at her or the conversation got more serious it reminded her that she was talking to Yeji. To her crush. And then the stuttering and rambling would begin.

"It's not that you have to. You don't. It's just if you want to or if you think it would be useful. It's more of a suggestion but then it's probably not a good idea so-"
Yeji tilted her head before furrowing her brows, looking confused. Her eyes seemed to scan her face, looking for something. Did she find it?
"Woah, well, that was... Okay. Your idea is something to consider. We can talk about it more."
Ryujin only nodded, trying to get the pen off her hand, hiding it behind her back. Sticking was a terrible side effect of getting nervous around Yeji. It was so embarrassing.

Yuna sat beside her while she ate a slice of pizza she had got from a local business, making her eye her suspiciously. The blonde girl seemed to scan her top to bottom, looking for something. With her, that was never a good thing.
"What is it?" she asked, mouth full of food.
"There's something different about you." Yuna stated, not even needing to ask before concluding that. Her eyes still slightly closed as she stared at her.
"I feel violated. Stop staring at me."
Yuna rolled her eyes in response, finally focusing on her own pizza. "Now you know what it's like to be Yeji."
Woah, did she really call her a creep? "I'm not- I don't-" Yuna was staring at her again, her eyebrows raised while she waited for a response. But she never did come up with an argument against her logic. Being quiet was for the better.
"Anyways, creep, what are you dressing up as for the party?"
Ryujin only shrugged, still undecided on an outfit. On one hand, most girls would be dressed up in some slutty way, and on another she definitely wasn't into dressing up like that.
"Let me guess, sexy cop? Sexy nurse? Oh, I know... Sexy vampire?" she joked, making Yuna punch her arm lightly.
