A GASP of awe escaped her lips when the lake came upon her view, it seemed familiar, way too familiar.
Was it what one could describe it as 'dreamy?'
The full moon further adorned the surroundings with its gleaming light.
Sunghoon took a seat upon the edge of the lake as he motioned for Raeul to take a seat beside him.
"You can lift off your cloak from your head", Sunghoon informed her as he did the same.
"Ah, its fine, I'd rather keep it on", she gave an excuse so as to not let him catch a whiff of the heat creeping up onto her cheeks.
Why are you blushing, you fool? It's not as if you like him or anything.
Her inner voices fought in her head, she would never admit to liking someone whose neck she had pressed upon her dagger to.
It was beyond her morals to catch those stupid feelings one classified as 'butterflies' or 'love'.
"Does the lake seem familiar to you in any sort of way?"
His voice seemed to tear her away from her inner voices, "It does irk me, in a way as if it's a stranger I've never met but recognized", her gaze travelled upon the surroundings.
"Is it what my mother described it to you as?", his question got her mind to shift to that particular description of a mysterious lake.
"Now that you mentioned it, I suppose", she didn't look up at him, in fear that her already heated cheeks would be as red as a tomato once she met his gaze.
"You know, this is where my mother and father fell in love, to be exact, it's the place where my father confessed his love for her", Sunghoon had come here numerous times, his parents had been lucky of the opportunity to find the one.
"Really? They were the lucky ones then, to find love within an arranged marriage is certainly something", she remarked staring onto the view.
"Do you ever think of love?"
"Huh?"
The question ticked her off, she had never thought about it, falling in love? It never did cross her mind but these days, she had thought of things which her past self would feel shamed for.
"I don't think I ever did, I never got the chance to really think about it", she responded, it was true though, her position as the general never allowed her to see through the other things in life but now?
