"Sukuna..." Gojo groaned as he hung upside down.

Three of Sukuna's four eyes bore into him.

"The empress has decided."

Gojo's eyes widened. "What's her decision...?" He swung hopelessly along with his thin ray of hope.

"She has not told me. I assume it will be an execution, because she has requested an audience at the base of Mount Fuji."

--------------

You sat in the lounge room, a fire in the fireplace. You had requested one thing of your husband for the night: time alone. So with a sweet kiss, he let you go alone into the lounge room. Outside he paced, debating on whether or not he should use his six eye to look through the wall, but ultimately decided against it, and would try to fall asleep in his bedroom.

You rocked in the rocking chair, staring at the fire, red at the tips, but blue at it's base. It all ultimately faded to poisonous smoke.

The emotions were crawling at your throat like bile exploding from your stomach.

Although your decision and words had been harsh in Gojo's ear and so sweet in Sukuna's, you felt your emotions were getting the better of you. The worst part was that you couldn't tell if you were feeling lust or love and hatred or resentment. But the worst thing was, you knew these emotions would clear up as soon as you decided if you were more afraid of not just the possibility of Sukuna's wrath, but the fear of losing the love he so graciously bestowed upon you, or if you had more belief in the hope of freedom for those suffering, and mainly the hope of a restored relationship with Gojo.

Even as you sat in a chair dormant and alone, you still ran. You ran away from these decisions. It had always been your personal belief that you were ill-equipped and unable to make big decisions unless the answer was obvious, but now...you were the rope in the tug of war, and it was up to you to decide which side of the rope would fray first.

You stared at the fire. Your journal in hand, and thus, you began to write.
