In Remedial Goodness 101 Class
The next day, the 5 VK's now sit in their Remedial Goodness class taught by Fairy godmother. The classroom only contained the 5 students due to the class being anchored towards the cause of reforming the VK's, so it was pretty empty. At one table sat Jay, Carlos, and Gino, with Gino sitting in between the two, and at the other sat Mal and Evie.
"If someone hands you a crying baby, do you, A, curse it? B, lock it in a tower? C, give it a bottle? Or D, carve out its heart?" Fairy godmother asks while pointing her teaching stick to each option on the chalk board. Evie raises her hand enthusiastically. "Evie?"
Evie lowers her hand and asks another question, "What was the second one?" She tilted her head with a smile.
"Oh, okay. Anyone else?" Fairy godmother glosses over Evie's question and looks around the room for someone else. Gino raises his hand slowly.
"Yes, Gino?" Fairy godmother asks cheerfully.
"How tall would you say said tower is?" Gino asks gesturing to choice B.
Fairy godmother's smile falters before giving a quick reply, "Tall." She gives a heavy sigh before turning to the rest of the class again. "Now, does anybody, without any questions, genuinely know the answer?" The class is quiet, but Fairy godmother notices Mal drawing something, not paying any attention.
"Mal?" Fairy godmother asks Mal, making the purple-haired girl look up. Fairy godmother nods her head towards the board, signaling for Mal to answer the question.
"C, give it a bottle." Mal answers correctly for the fourth time since they started the period.
"Correct. Again." Fairy godmother confirmed with relieved smile.
Carlos looks over at Mal in disbelief at her streak before exclaiming , "You are on fire, girl!"
"Just pick the one that doesn't sound like any fun." Mal states obviously with a shrug, this earns a series of 'Oh's' and 'Ah's" from her friends.
"That makes so much sense." Evie nodded in realization.
Suddenly, two pairs of footsteps enters the room.(Your/2nd POV)
"Please come with me Y/N! I can't go in there alone!" Jane begged cupping your hands with hers. Jane's been pleading for you to walk with her into Remedial Goodness to go get a signature from her mom, Fairy godmother. You personally find Jane's fear for the VK's kind of ridiculous, and you being there wouldn't make much of a difference, but Jane is one of your closest friends so you eventually agree.
"Okay. Okay. Ill go with you, but those guys really aren't as scary as you think." You tell her for the third time since your conversation started.
"Yes! A million times thank you!" Jane hugs you quickly, disregarding your previous statement, before grabbing your hand and dragging you off towards the class room. You both enter the room, walking in between the two tables that were occupied by the VK's. Well, you walked normally while Jane quickly scuttled by with a quiet squeal, she repeatedly turned her head around to look at the VK's as she walked up to her waiting mother. Her brown hair and blue bow swung around with her every time she looked back in fear.
Upon seeing you and her daughter, Fairy godmother smiles gleefully "Hello, dear one! Hello, Y/N!"
"Hi. You need to sign off on early dismissal for the coronation." Jane replied to her mother with a quiet voice, holding up a clipboard with the papers on it and a pen.
"Hi, FG." You smiled back at Fairy Godmother as she takes the clipboard out her daughter's hands and signs the papers on it.
While she signs it, she happily reintroduces you and her daughter, "Everyone here remembers my daughter, Jane, and Princess Y/N?"
