12. No Fun, Family Day 🧹

Outside in Auradon Prep's Gardens (3rd Person)

Now that family day has arrived, all of Auradon gathers in the castle gardens for the event. Paired with the eye-catching floral, tables were set and decorations threw splashes of preppy pink, blue, and yellow all throughout the venue. Everyone is dressed in semi-formal attire, and all had gathered around the gazebo where Y/N, Prince Ben and a couple of other students stood. They were the chosen students to put on a special performance to welcome all the families as Auradon's guests.

Ben and Y/N approached the watching audience with blue napkins hung formally from their arms, and beside them peers sang a happy tune. As the two walked, Ben spoke up to the excited audience.

"Ma cherie Mademoiselle, It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure...That we welcome you tonight." Ben addressed and flashed a charming smile before his sister spoke up as well.

"And now, we invite you to relax," Y/N put on a smile as well, pausing for a second as she and Ben waved to their parents. "Let us pull up a chair as the dining room proudly presents -"

"Your dinner!" The siblings ended at the same time with a formal bow and curtsy.

"Auradon Students: ♫ Be... our... guest! Be our guest! Put our service to the test ♫" The students from before begin to sing and dance according to how they practiced a few days prior.

"Auradon Students: ♫ Tie your napkin 'round your neck, cherie, and we'll provide the rest ♫" Doug, who was among the singing students, got a little too into it while dancing before looking around awkwardly.

"Ben: ♫ That's right. ♫" Y/N and Ben looked back at Doug before sharing a chuckle at his dance.

"Auradon Students: ♫ Soup du jour, hot hors d'oeuvres. Why, we only live to serve ♫" The two siblings then threw their blue napkins into the air. Ben's had landed in the grasp of a couple of swooning girls as Y/N's ended up in a tug-of-war with between couple of boys trying to impress her.

"Auradon Students: ♫ Try the grey stuff, It's delicious! Don't believe me? Ask the dishes ♫" All of the male students performing behind the two siblings then came forward to stand with Ben as Y/N moved back to stand with the girls.

"Ben: ♫ They can sing-sing-sing! They can dance-dance-dance! After all, Miss, this is France! ♫"

"Ben: ♫ And the dinner here is never-never second best! Come on! ♫ " All the rest of the students then threw their blue napkins in the air.

"Ben: ♫ Go on, unfold your menu. Go on, take a glance and then you'll...♫" The boys all began to bounce and sway with each other on beat.

"Ben: ♫ Be our guest. Oui, our guest. Be our guest-Yeah, come on! ♫"

As Y/N stepped forward for her part, Gino and the rest of the VK's arrived at the event. They stood side by side on a outdoor balcony observing the scene. However, Gino was more so eyeing the (H/C) girl performing with interest.

"Y/N: ♫ We tell jokes, I do tricks! With my fellow candlesticks! ♫" Y/N sang as her peers danced around her.

"Y/N: ♫ And it's all in perfect taste, That you can bet ♫"
