"TAKE CARE." Father Orsi said as we stood outside the church, saying our final messages and goodbyes before we set out to the Royal Capital. "You must write to us." Recca said with a smile, small tears at the corner of her eye.

I nodded, "Okay." I said, smiling at her. It seemed like she tried her best to not cry in front of everyone that was watching.

Aruru then smiled at us, "Safe journey." She said. "Come back soon!" She said, and Nash stretched. He seemed unbothered by our leaving. "Asta will be back soon." Nash retorted. I looked at him sharply.

My brows furrowed as I looked at him, "There is no need to be rude, Nash." I said, frowning deeply at him. He probably got influenced by Father Orsi.

He still seemed unbothered, not caring much about what I said. Let's just wait and see. He'll probably have a lot of enemies when he's older. "But.. I mean if, if you manage to get into the Magic Knights," He looked away, not daring to look at Asta.

Asta looked at Nash, "What about it?" Asta asked. "I'll believe in possibilities, and that we can become whatever we want to be." Nash said.

He seemed like he didn't want to admit such a thing to Asta. "One day, I might be able to get into the Magic Knights too!" He said, looking at Asta quickly but then looked away once more.  "No, forget about it."

If he doesn't want to, I guess he'll be better off becoming the priest. I then turned on my heel, waving at them and setting off.

The earlier we leave, the better. "Bye!" I yelled out just as Yuno started following. "We'll get going." Yuno said to Asta, who was still talking to our Hage family. "Wait up, Yuno, (Y/n)!" Asta said, catching up to the two of us.

We were now walking together, heading to the Royal Capital. "Don't ignore me, you two siblings." Asta said, looking at the two of us as I looked back.

"Even if we all are rivals, it doesn't mean we can't be tight." Asta said, causing me to answer. "We aren't tight," I said, continuing to walk the path. Yuno then started walking quicker, while I maintained the pace I was at.

Asta turned around, waving. "Guys, we're leaving!" Asta said loudly. "Safe journey!" They all yelled out loud, while I continued walking.

I looked at the sun, which was shining so bright. It seemed like it was so near the Royal Capital, it seemed amazing. It also looked like it was the same size as the Royal Capital, which seems so near but so far.

Asta and Yuno both seem mature, in their own ways of course. I remember when we were all children not so long ago.

I remember when they came back home for a town, Asta was injured a lot, and Yuno seemed fine. Ever since that day, Yuno stopped crying often. If I can recall, the last time I saw him cry was around twelve years ago.

I really wonder if it was because of Asta that Yuno became stronger with each passing day. It really started when Asta became covered in many bruises.

I looked in front of me, seeing Asta chatter away. It was summertime, so it was a little hot. Asta seemed like he was sweating so bad, I swear we still haven't reached the thirty-minute mark. I can't believe that the exam is only held in the Royal Capital.

We only set out because the exam is being held in the Royal Capital, which is at the heart of the Clover Kingdom.

Hage Village is very far from the Royal Capital. That's why we're called the 'most far-flung Hage Village'. I then heard Asta's loud voice, "I wonder what it's like in the Royal Capital." Asta said with a smile on his face.

I looked at the greenery that's surrounding me, I answered Asta's question. "There are many shops. But I doubt we would be able to shop much, it's expensive there." I said.

Asta then looked back at me, "Do you think we will get a chance to meet the Magic Emperor?" He asked, smiling as I nodded at him. "We will meet the Magic Emperor. The Magic Emperor makes many appearances." I said.

I thought for a moment, thinking about what I just said. "But to get near him, we would have to be Magic Knights first." I said.

"That first, and we would be able to meet him more times." I said with a smile on my face. I really hope that we can become a part of the Magic Knights. Hopefully we can become one of the best ones, too.

Maybe all I'm going to aim for is to become a captain of a squad. "I'm really going to work hard." Asta said, causing Yuno to turn his head.

"Aren't you afraid?" Yuno asked Asta curiously. Hm, I really guess that it's not that hard. "Why should I be?" Asta asked, Yuno, holding onto his makeshift bag. "That's how you are." Yuno said nonchalantly, looking straight ahead of him.

Asta looked back at me, and he looked at Yuno. "Come on, let's speed up!" Asta said with a smile on his face.

He started running to the Royal Capital. I guess he's trying to burn up all his stamina. Looks like we're going to be stopping to rest somewhere at some point because of how excited this boy is to set foot in the Royal Capital.

"The Royal Capital is very far away!"  I yelled, walking a little faster so I can stay beside Yuno. "Hey!" Yuno called out calmly.

Asta continued running even faster as I watched his shirt become drenched with sweat. "I'm going to become Magic Emperor first!" Asta said with a smile on his face, looking back at us. Yuno then took a deep breath.

"It's not like the sooner you get thyere, the sooner you become one." Yuno said nonchalantly. He's really excited to get there, no?

He's probably thinking about having the same dream he told us about a few nights ago. He wanted to get on one of those broomsticks with a horse head, dressed in the most extravagant clothes and hovering above the ground by the entrance of the church.

Then Asta went on and on about not calling Sister Lily by her title, he talked about just calling her 'My Lily,' when she's yeaars older than him.

Asta then picked up a long branch and rode it, imitating someone riding a broom. "Like this!" He said, watching us walk past him. "I'm going to pick her up like this." He said with a proud smile plastered on his face.

"You don't even have magic." Yuno said, looking back at Asta. Asta dropped the branch with a snap, seeming stunned that a quick sentence can ruin all your dreams.

Asta then neared Yuno and I. "There must be a way!" Asta said, winking at the two of us with a smile. "Is there?" Yuno asked with a neutral expression on his face.

Asta nodded, "Yes, I can even get my hands on a grimoire." Asta said. Well, I suppose. Maybe he'll develop the skill of riding a broom sooner or later. "There's always a way, as long as we don't give up!" Asta said.

Well, I guess that's partly true. "Come on, hurry up, Yuno and (Y/n)!" Asta said, continuing to run ahead of us.

I guess he was really aboe to build up his stamina, since we haven't stopped and for almost the whole journey, he ran. "We need to train even after we get to the Royal Capital!" He said with a smile on his face.

"We need to train even after we get to the Royal Capital!" Asta informed, and Yuno started running after Asta.

I ran after them, controlling my breathing. "That's impossible!" Yuno said. Looks like we're going to run to the Royal Capital. I think that will make our journey go two times faster, no? That's better than just walking, I guess.

"Yuno, you can't keep up, right?" Asta asked, looking back at the two of us as I laughed. My brother was panting, and trying his hardest not to stop.

Well, we all ended up tired, panting or literally on the ground and trying to regain our breath.

The rest of our journey was mostly trying to survive. Asta slept during the night, but I was restless. I didn't like the idea of sleeping ouside in the wilderness, and being in the wilderness for long periods of time isn't really my strong suit.

Asta killed a huge creature with his really, really heavy sword with one swing, and we cooked it. That pretty much became our dinner for that day.

We also almost got lost because Asta pointed the wrong way instead of the right way.. and then we got caught in a landslide. Anyway, many things happened on the days leading up to today. It was amazing!
