MY SKIRT SWAYED AS WE WERE DRAGGED INTO THE PLACE WHERE CAPTAINS DRANK. The paw held us by the head tightly, providing some discomfort in the upper area. Gosh, I do not want to see Nozel.
"A celebration for climbing up the ranks." Captain Yami said, his eyes fluttering as more tears escaped. He's proud, I can tell.
A cigarette in his mouth as he sat down lazily, "You get carried away for climbing the ranks once." Captain Mereoleona said upon first sight of him. Her flames surrounded her as she held the three of us outside the door, me being the only one able to peek due to how high she held me.
Captain Yami seemed to be caught off guard, immediately straightening up and dusting himself off as he now stared at her figure. "S-sisgoleon," He said nervously, a bead of sweat dripping off.
He bit down on his cigarette hard, waiting for an insult coming from her. She smiled at him mischieviously, keeping the three of us out of the more than half-closed doors of the bar. "Who are you calling sister?" She questioned, raising an eyebrow at him as he opened his mouth.
I swear that cigarette of his is going to fall out sooner or later. "You're Fuegoleon's sister. Doesn't that make you sisgoleon?" He asked, staring right at her in a staring contest. He's funny, no?
She continued to speak in a dignified manner, "My siblings and I don't randomly use such nicknames to address ourselves." She said, her tone becoming low and dangerous as I felt the cold air coming from the bar continue to gush out. Yami looked aside thoughtfully for a moment.
He sighed, "I thought you used the same term as endings for your nicknames." Captain Yami said, trying to think about it in his head as smoke flew out of the small ending of his cigarette.
She then started to move inside the bar, "Nonsense." She said out loud as Asta and Yuno crashed into the entrance, the two of them unable to fit in the small gap the door provided. Their expressions were pained as they were forced through it, breathing a sigh of relief as they got in.
I, however, was able to just slip in due to us not being even. As we entered the bar, the Captains looked at us, both in bewilderment and shock as Mereoleona smiled at them proudly.
As if we were rats she was able to catch in just a day. "Hi, Captain Yami." Asta greeted with a wave as Yuno and I stayed silent, both clearly not happy about our impromptu visit here at the bar. Captain Mereoleona let us dangle, raising each of us up like one of those octopus rides at a fair.
Captain Yami pointed at Asta with a mocking smile, his cigarette emitting smoke as his eyes widened in utter disbelief. "Little Brat, you got caught?" He asked, his tone suggesting teasing.
His eyes went weird as he questioned Asta's appearance, "What's going on?" He asked curiously as Asta sheepishly smiled back at him. "Actually, I'm not sure myself." He said, sweat dripping off his forehead due to the sheer heat. Mereoleona then smiled at him, another paw emerging.
The paw rest itself on Yami's head, holding it tightly as Yami deflated, his expression contorting to nervousness. His cigarette's light went out, the burn of his cigarette dying out each second.
"You weren't late for the announcement. Instead, you were absent." Captain Mereoleona said as a matter of fact. He probably expected them to rank last again, like always. She then raised him high enough in the air for his feet to not be given the chance to even touch the floor.
Captain Charlotte looked down as she side-eyed Captain Yami, sneaking some glances at her crush that was now going to be tortured by the new Crimson Lions Captain, Miss Mereoleona.
"Wait a second!" He said, standing still as he looked at Mereoleona. I can tell that they're talking through their eyes, and he's begging for a second chance from this woman. "It looks like you are slacking off. I'll help you train again." She said sternly, crossing her arms as Charlotte smiled.
