A FIREWORK IN THE FORM OF A HEART EXPLODED BEHIND NOZEL, causing me to smile sweetly as he pulled away.
The feeling of his lips lingered on mine, the smirk on his face still evident as he looked down at me, clearly blushing like a tomato. I've dreamt of him all summer long, waiting for the chance to somehow call him mine.
I'm an argumentative, antithetical dream girl, yet I'm here. "It's dinner. What would you like to eat?" Nozel asked.
I shook away from my thoughts, still basking in the afterglow. "Uh, do you know a place?" I asked curiously. He nodded, as if nothing even happened between the two of us. We started walking towards a restaurant, a fancy one to be exact.
Barely any people sat in it, giving me the impression that it's quite pricey. My heels clicked against the floor, and I could hear the soft music from outside.
Nozel opened the door for me, allowing himself to be the last person to enter the restaurant. Once I got in, he followed, closing the door behind him.
JINGLE
The bells above the door jingled, signalling the employees that someone had entered the restaurant. Nozel and I just stood by the restaurant, waiting for any employees. I guess he's been here for some time now.
A waiter then arrived, a welcoming smile on his face as I saw the manager pin on his suit. "Welcome, Mister Silva." He said, nodding his head.
He eyed me for a quick second before looking back at Nozel. He seems curious as to who I am. "Table for two, I'm assuming?" He asked, now holding a small notepad. Nozel nodded, confirming the table.
The man then pointed to a chair by the window, "Please have a seat." He said with a smile as Nozel took my hand, dragging me to the table.
I sat down in front of him, looking right and seeing the many citizens enjoying the festival. Smiles on their faces, they were enjoying it with their family members. Huh, I wonder where Yuno is right now.
Nozel looked at me as I looked outside the window. "What do you want to eat?" He asked me, the second menu under his hand as he slid it towards me.
I eyed the menu for a brief moment, scanning for anything that looks or sounds appetizing for my taste. Well, atleast I wanted to try something else. Not when my eye caught my favorite food. "I'll take some (f/f)." I said to him, pointing to it on the menu.
--- SKIP
Nozel stood where his siblings were stationed, and now, I'm with Klaus, Mimosa, and Yuno. Turns out they were looking for me.
Captain Charlotte was in one of the little tents, and it was really, really, lively around the tent. They were obviously charmed by her beauty. I can agree! She's so pretty. "It's really lively!" I beamed, looking at the tent with a smile.
They really love her, I can tell. "Because it's a festival." Klaus said, his attention diverted to the tent.
Nobody uttered a word about how he owns a hotel, and how we broke it down, disrespecting the spirits in that house. "I don't see what could go wrong here." Klaus said, his glasses shining as we all looked at the tent.
I nodded in response, "It should be okay." I said, looking back in front of us, where the stage is. "Let's go to the merit announcement. We must not be late." Klaus said.
Right, the moment of truth. "You're right," Yuno said, getting reminded of the announcement. My palms are slightly sweaty as I looked down, a slight smile on my face. "The merit announcement is making me a little nervous." I said honestly.
