SWEAT DRIPPED DOWN MY FOREHEAD AS I SAT DOWN. Training alone, away from the Golden Dawn Base and instead nearer than a base I did not recognize.
I sat down on the grass, the wind blowing through as I hugged my legs. I watched the birds chirp loudly, singing short songs that ended once they flew away. I sighed, looking at my grimoire that floated beside me.
To my left, light swords stabbed into the bark, continuing to shine even as I rested. As I practiced earlier, it was swift, causing it to penetrate that deep into the tree.
To my right were trees that were just merely clinging onto life. Holes were blasted into it, making the sides see through as some smoke still came from the holes that had black rings near the edges due to the sheer heat.
My breathing was heavy as I leaned against one of the trees, a relaxed expression on my face as I watched leaves dance with the wind.
Who knew that deeper into the forest of the Golden Dawn Base, there would be a really, calming place available for you to go to. I wonder why I didn't dare to step foot inside the forest, it seems so enjoyable.
I took a deep breath, allowing myself to take a short break before continuing to practice some more spells. I closed my eyes in clear solitude, a sign that I was in a state of peace.
"Greetings, My Lady."
I heard suddenly, my eyes opening in surprise as I heard a voice. The voice was meek and soft, it was obviously a female's voice. I paused for a moment, my head slowly craning towards the source as the wind blew through my hair.
To my shock, I saw a small little fairy behind me, similar to the one Yuno has. She had a small, white dress and small wings.
I smiled, looking at her as I held my hand out to confirm if she was actually true. "Hello," I greeted as she flew to my hands slowly, as if pouring all her trust in me. How random, I heard Yuno got his in battle.
But me, I got mine leaning on a tree.
The fairy sat in my hand, a small smile on her face as she looked up at me.
A surge of electricity then ran through my body as I paused, the unfamiliar feeling catching me off guard as I quickly raised my other hand, eyes widened as the feeling of electricity travelled swiftly throughout my veins.
I coughed loudly, my hand still out for the little fairy as I used my other hand, bringing it up to my mouth and coughing softly.
A wet liquid was on my hand, dripping down my arm as I brought it away from my mouth, a small string connected my hand and mouth as I stared at the liquid in my hand in absolute horror, watching the bright red liquid trail down my hands and chin.
I looked at the fairy slowly, my eyes not knowing if I should focus on her, or the fact that I just coughed blood.
BOOM
My vision then went black, my eyes closing as a warm feeling engulfed me quickly. I could barely see, feeling myself trapped in the realm of darkness.
I then felt myself open my eyes, yet I was still in a realm of darkness. I could see my body glowing brightly in the midst of all the darkness as I looked around in my Magic Knight's Uniform curiously.
I felt restricted, I wanted to wake up and leave this dark room as I kept my guard up, my sight searching for the fairy that I saw before I saw black.
"My Rianne," I heard a voice call out to me, causing me to turn around and follow the source of the unexpected voice. Not once have I ever heard this person's voice, but I guess I'll use it as a source of some entertainment.
