A Mother's Ache and Pain

Dialogue

Character: Tonika Radu, mother of two children

Emotion: Upset, Angry, Sad, Empty

Situation: A lost child.

I've been working hard and caring for my baby for 15 years. They can't just take her from me! Okay? Y'all can't just wait.

This isn't the first time we've had a case like this. She could've-

She didn't run away! She would never run away! She just turned 15, she was my little angel. I know when something's not right. Ma'am, do you have kids?

 *Clears throat* Yes but-

Okay! Then you know that you wouldn't just want to sit here and wait while your child is in an ill muthafucka's hands! Look, I just want my baby back and if y'all aren't gonna do anything then I will.

Um Ms. Radu, you can't-

Flowers. She loved flowers. She used to always pick some for me when she was little. Now my baby girl draws them for me. She even creates her own flowers. Giving 'em little creative names and shit. I call her Cataleya. God, she loved that movie, what was it? It was um, Columbiana! She's my world yo. The fact that you're a mother and can't understand what the fuck I'm doing... shit.
