Poem

In the warp holes of love, attention flourishes,

A tender touch, a gaze that nourishes.

With every gesture, every word spoken,

Her flame ignites, forever unbroken.

In the concrete jungle where dreams collide,

I wandered, unsure of the path to stride.

A young heart beating with questions untold,

Navigating a world where identities unfold.

She was plenty woman I long to be like her;

A woman, so soon.

My girl era ended when she pushed my back against the earth.

No grass greener and no skies blue

Could love be?

Could I love she?
