Y/N POV
I was in Johnathan's basement watching the boys practice their song for the concert they were competing in.
"You guys are so good!" I said while clapping my hands once they finished their song.
"Thanks; that means a lot to us!" one of the guys said while putting his guitar down on the sand so it wouldn't break.
"You don't have to watch us you know?" Johnathan said while walking over to me with a smile after he put his base in the case.
"It's fine," I said while waving my hand at him with a smile. "I like watching you guys practice it makes me feel like part of the group."
"But doesn't it get boring after a while?" Johnathan asked me with a worried gaze like he felt bad for wasting my time.
"No, not at all!" I said happily with a bright smile.
"Why don't you try playing something y/n?" One of the guys asked me while handing me his drumsticks.
"Oh no," I said with a nervous smile while trying to hand them back to him. "I don't have any type of musical talent!"
"That's too bad. I kind of wanted to hear you play something," the guy said with a frown as he took the drumsticks back. "But I guess since you don't know how to play anything, it might make it hard."
"Do you want me to walk you home y/n?" Johnathan asked me while getting his stuff together before looking at me.
"Sure," I said as I grabbed my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. "Why not, I need the company anyway."
Walking home with my crush was not how I imagined things going but a win is a win in my book so I'll take what I can get.
As we left the house I noticed that it was dark outside and I was starting to feel like maybe it was a good idea for one of the guys to walk me home since walking home alone at night is scary.
"So where do you live?" Johnathan asked as he walked, breaking the silence.
"Just down the road," I said while pointing to where I lived to show it wasn't far. "What about you?"
"I live around the block," he said while putting his hands in his pockets while smiling at me. "But it's not that far."
"Aw I feel bad for you," I said with a pout as I looked up at him. "Well, this is my house."
"Maybe one day me and you can hang out together just me and you?" He suggested while trying to avoid eye contact with me as a faint blush coated his cheeks.
"That sounds nice," I said as I avoided eye contact with him and I blushed. "I would love to hang out with you!"
"So does Saturday work for you?" He asked while scratching the back of his neck as he glanced over to me.
