Gil ended up being a good father to my daughter which I was not expecting since he's such a bad, mean, and violent person and even though she's biologically his there's no telling what Gil would do. I ended up giving birth to another girl and I was relieved that she was part mermaid since I didn't know what Gil would do if she weren't. Gil was more distant with my second daughter than with our firstborn, but I tried to make up for it by giving her a lot of my attention.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Gil asked me with a questionable look.
"Because I miss the land and the life I built for myself and my family and you ruined it," I said with a glare as I put the baby down for a nap. "You ruin everything."
"Are you seriously doing this right now?" He asked with a poisonous tone.
"If you can go on land then why can't we live on it?" I asked with a pleading look but refused to beg him.
"Because the sea is better," he said like it was such a simple thing. "Nobody telling you what to do, no money system that can be abused, just life and family."
"GIL!" I raised my voice at him since I was getting fed up.
"Look (Y/N) I don't get why you want to live up there," he said like I was the problem while not looking at me as he worked on something. "It seems like it sucks with all the corruption and bad people."
"Because it's my home," I said while glaring at the back of his head. "And you're one to talk!"
He didn't reply right away as he let out an annoyed sigh instead.
"Look I get your mad but living down here is safer for you and the babies," he said while turning around to look at me. "I mean there aren't many people down here that can kidnap or hurt them."
Funny you're down here and you kidnapped and raped me and last I checked the ocean has more threats than land but whatever!
"I'm going on a swim to clear my head," I said before swimming to the door. "I'll be right back."
"Be safe," he said before I left. "And stay close to the cave!"
I left the cave and swam in a random direction, Gil knew I wouldn't try anything without my kids so that's why he lets me go out more. As I swam, I saw a sunken ship that I didn't recognize and that looked old.
Should I explore it? You know why not? I mean it is cool to see what a sunken ship looks like.
I swam to it and started to try to find a way in. Once I was inside I looked around for a bit until I found a room that looked like it might have something cool inside it. As I looked around the room I saw some things that I thought looked cute like a silver mirror, a comb, and jewelry, and decided to take them since the owner wasn't going to need them.
