(Y/N) POV
I didn't try to help rule the kingdom with my husband since I didn't care about it and it's not like the kingdom has ever done anything for me. I would spend most of my time taking care of the kids and doing whatever I wanted.
"Mommy, garden, garden!" My little girl asked, pulling on my dress with an excited smile.
"You want to go out and play in the garden?" I asked as I put my project down so I could pick her up.
She nodded her little head as I got up and walked to the dresser to change her into something more suitable for the outdoors. Once she was dressed more appropriately I held her hand and took her outside to let her play. As soon as she was outside she went to play in the grass near the flower beds. Meanwhile, her dad and twin brother were somewhere working on stuff to get him ready to be king one day even though our son is only 5 years old.
"Mommy look what I made!" My daughter yelled while running over to me with a badly made flower crown.
"Oh my gosh baby," I said with fake excitement while taking the flower crown from her small hands. "Baby, it's beautiful!"
"Put it on!" She said, staring at me with an expression that told me she was not playing around.
"Okay," I whispered while putting the flower crown on my head and not only was it made horribly it was also way too small for my head. "How does it look on mommy?"
"It looks amazing!" She said with a big smile that lit up her face.
"What's going on out here?" I heard a familiar voice ask in a cocky tone followed by loud footsteps.
"Daddy!" My daughter yelled before running up to him and throwing herself into his arms.
"Hey baby," he said with a small laugh as he picked her up and held her above his head. "What are you doing outside with mommy?"
"Mommy and I were playing," she said happily while pointing over to me. "Look what I made for mommy."
Warren carried her over to me so he could get a better look at what she had made for me. While Warren carried our daughter I noticed our son following behind Warren quietly.
"Oh yeah," Warren said while looking at the flower crown on top of my head before looking at our daughter. "Honey that looks great on mommy!"
Warren sat our daughter down so she could go play with her brother and sat down beside me.
"So what were you and our son doing?" I asked as we watched the kids run around and play with each other.
"We were doing stuff to prepare him for when he is ready to be king," he said in the shortest way possible without explaining anything. "So what have you two been doing all day?"
