It's sad to say that discrimination is everywhere. Even at the clinic.

Two females aren't being discreet with their laugher.

Eying me and Hunter, mainly he who is so interested, looking through all things they got on display. Magazines, brochures and charts about mothers, babies and all that.

It seems this pregnancy has me taking no bullshit from nobody.

Seeing as I'm walking next to a man in an electric wheelchair and with his casted legs covered in sweats, they don't know the depts of his injury.

Still it's enough for them to be gossiping right in front of my face, having no shame and being disrespectful.

"Is there a problem?" I raised a brow in question.

Others look but they know I'm acknowledging them.

"No."

"Why would there be?" The blond hair lady asked, dismissing her friend's question.

The one that says no is pregnant but blonde is probably just accompany her here.

"You tell me, since you keep staring at us and obviously laughing at my man who is in a wheelchair." I fold my arms.

"We weren't..."

"So what if I am?" She admits with no shame. "You couldn't find a better and healthier white man to dig your black claws into."

"Miss, racism and discrimination is not allowed or welcomed here." A nurse announced.

"The..." I stopped Hunter from saying anything.

"I don't care if you're racist, but he's a soldier who got hurt while serving for this country. If men like him aren't doing what they can for this country, uneducated women like you would have a lot more issues to worry about. Don't disrespect my husband or my overemotional pregnant ass will teach you to mind your sad excuse of a life." I hissed.

She got up and left, ashamed as person around starts to clap.

Her pregnant friend went after her and it's just sad.

Getting thanked and apologized by strangers, babe held my face and kisses all over it.

"I love you so much." He whispered.

"I love you too." I blushed.

"Mister and Mrs Daye." Our names were called based on what Hunter made for the appointment so we held our hands up. "Doctor Marshalls is ready for you in room three."

"Thank you." We told her, going right ahead, but Hunter puts me on his lap to sit.

Giving strangers more of a show.

Since I've done the most important check up which was a blood test, checking my weight, blood pressure, my pee and so forth.

Now for the actual confirmation.

"Congratulations, you are indeed pregnant." She smiles at us.

Hunter would no stop with all the kissing. I had to be covering my face.

"Now we'll move along to do the ultrasound where you'll both be able to see your baby."

Luckily my dress was an easy lift as I laid on the examiner bed getting a cold gel rubbed over my tummy.

I couldn't stop laughing at the frozen smile that is stuck on Hunter's face.

Then to hear our baby's heartbeat had me in tears.
