The day of Lorelai's graduation, Rory had also decided to skip school. Maybe it was the twin telepathy but she had no explanation for what could've possibly possessed her to do this. She had no idea where she was going, she just got on the bus.
She ended up back in Stars Hallow and just wandered around until her feet led her to a certain person's house.
Dean's house.
She raised her hand to knock on the door, but stopped herself when she realized he would probably be in school right now. Just as she was about to turn around she heard the door knob twist.
"Rory!?"
"Dean, hi uh-"
"What are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be in school?"
"Aren't you?"
"Stars Hallow starts later then Chilton, I was about to leave right now, but if you need something-"
"Oh right, I don't know why I'm here, I'm sorry I'll go now" Rory was about to turn and leave when Dean grabbed her by the wrist and turned her around
"Rory wait- let's talk"
