The next day Sabrina and Jess were sitting at the counter of Luke's. Taylor and Nicole were sitting at a table discussing paperwork for Taylor's Soda Shoppe.
"The school is really close to Yale, so I could always sneak up on Rory. I'd say that's a nice bonus." Sabrina said
"Only 22.8 miles" Jess said nonchalantly
"How'd you know that?"
"Do you Yahoo?"
"You looked it up?"
"Yeah."
"You looked it up." A smile slowly crept up on Sabrina's face
"I just hit a couple buttons on the computer."
"You looked it up."
"I was bored. There was nothing on TV and I was fooling around, it was something to do, that's it."
"You looked it up." Sabrina hugged Jess nearly tearing up.
The two teens then watched Luke and Taylor get into a mini argument as usual. Nicole silently laughed at the whole interaction. Taylor eventually got up and left.
"So, listen, after I dispose of Taylor's body, are we hitting a movie tonight?" Luke asked Nicole
"Yeah, we are. But uh, Luke, could you sit for a second, please?" Nicole asked
"I could."
"Could you do it soon?"
"Okay, listen, if I sit down, are we gonna have the conversation?"
"The conversation?"
"Yeah, you know, the conversation."
"Luke, please."
"Here comes the conversation." Luke said sitting down
"My parents are coming into town and I am going to have lunch with them and I thought maybe you'd like to join me."
Sabrina silently gasped and excitedly shook Jess' arm.
"Join you?" Luke questioned
"What do you say?" Nicole hopefully asked
"It's not that I don't wanna meet your parents, it's just that I haven't met any parents for a long time."
"Well, you don't have to. I'm just giving you the option."
"Jeez, man, just meet her parents already." Jess interjected
"Do you mind?" Luke annoyedly looked at Jess
"So what if they hate you? You've been there before." Jess said
"You know what, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to put you on the spot." Nicole said nervously
"I'm not on the spot. Really, I'm completely off the spot. I'm spotless. Uh, what time's the lunch?" Luke asked
"Two o'clock on Thursday."
"Two o'clock on Thursday. Okay, two o'clock on Thursday, I'll be there."
"That's great. So I'll see you tonight?"
"I'll see you tonight."
After Nicole leaves the diner Sabrina squeals in excitement.
"I am so picking your outfit!" Sabrina exclaimed before grabbing Jess' hand and running off to go to school. ——————————————————————————— The evening of Lorelai's birthday the three Gilmore Girls walked through the town square. They had just gotten back from Emily and Richard's celebration, which of course ended in a fight.
They walked down the street and Lorelai noticed a large group of people at Miss Patty's dance studio. She also noticed a giant crane lowering a huge pizza onto a table.
"Oh my God. What is that?" Lorelai asked stopping in her tracks
"The world's largest pizza." Sabrina proudly said
"That is amazing." Rory said looking stunned at the pizza
"You like it?" Sabrina asked
"I love it. Thank you honey." Lorelai said pulling Sabrina into a hug
"Hey, what happened to Kirk?" Rory asked noticing Kirk wrapped in bandages
"The world's largest cheese burns" Sabrina awkwardly nodded.
