"Hairspray!" Sabrina shouted while running down the stairs

"Hairspray!" Rory ran out of the bathroom with a can of hairspray, she threw it to Lorelai

"Hairspray!" Lorelai caught the can and sprayed Sabrina's hair

"Hairspray" Sabrina repeated more calmly this time

"You look beautiful hon." Lorelai smiled down at her daughter

"Now come on, put on your dress, I wanna see it already" Rory said

"Alright fine, but just know I'm about to pull the craziest transformation you've ever witnessed. You might not even recognize me" Sabrina replied

"Well then get a name tag, now go" Rory shooed Sabrina back up the stairs.

Sabrina ran up into her room. She unzipped the bag that contained her perfect dress. It was the prom dress of her dreams, and she was going with the guy of her dreams. She squealed of happiness and disbelief, she couldn't believe she was actually going to prom. And with someone she loved along side her.

(Luke's Apartment)

"It's too tight" Jess complained tugging at his tie

"It is not too tight" Luke replied

"I look ridiculous" Jess stood in front of the mirror

"You look fine"

"Gee thanks"

"You look great, Sabrina will love it" Luke walked over and placed his hand on Jess' shoulder in encouragement

Jess hid his embarrassment and just awkwardly coughed. He was so nervous about prom, but would never tell Luke that. He was feeling anxious about all the people that were going to be there and he knew Sabrina would offer a million times to leave, but he wanted to stick it out for her. She was so excited about prom he didn't want to take that away from her.

"Well you better get going" Luke said looking at his watch

"Alright" Jess took in a deep breath and started to head over to the Gilmore household.

Jess stood outside the Gilmore Girl's door. He tugged on his tie again before hesitantly knocking. He heard footsteps approaching the door, his heart began to race faster and faster.

Rory peaked out the door and saw Jess was standing outside. She opened the door and welcomed him in.

"Hey Jess"

"Hey"

"Sabrina's still getting ready-"

"Jess hey, you clean up nicely" Lorelai interrupted while entering the living room

"Thanks" Jess mumbled

"Well feel free to sit down, Sabrina should be down any moment" Lorelai said before leaving again

Jess awkwardly sat down on the couch, and stared at his hands. Rory sat on a separate chair nearby, thinking of ways to fill the silence.

"So you excited for prom?" Rory asked

"I guess" Jess replied

"I suppose it's not really your thing"

"It's okay, are you not going?" Jess asked

"I wanted too, but it just didn't work out"

"Oh well, sorry"

The two fell back into an uncomfortable silence. Suddenly music began playing loudly from upstairs.

"Get ready for my grand entrance!" Sabrina shouted from the top step

Sabrina began to strut down the stairs. Jess slowly stood up staring in awe. She looked so beautiful his heart almost exploded. As soon as they made eye contact he began to feel his face turning red. She truly was the most gorgeous girl in the world, she was perfect.

"Wow" Rory said

"Oh no I missed it!" Lorelai came running back into the living room with a camera, she frantically started taking pictures

Sabrina stood on the bottom step and started dramatically posing for Lorelai's camera. Jess continued staring with his jaw dropped from her beauty.

Once Lorelai stopped taking pictures Sabrina slowly approached Jess. She stood in front of his and patted down her dress.

"Well, how do I look" Sabrina said looking up into his eyes

"Amazing, just...I can't...you're so" Jess couldn't get the words out but Sabrina knew what he meant

"Thanks" Sabrina blushed

"Awwww" Rory and Lorelai said in unison
