This is a large wedding for it to be someone simple like Daniel. But it seems the bride has more friends than he does.

The ceremony was beautiful. My heart was already melting from the moment he picked me up. He warned me that we had to arrive a little earlier since he was supposed to walk down with his sister at one point and stand by her side of the altar. I immediately agreed to this and made sure to get ready hours before. I checked myself in the mirror so many times until he knocked on the door of my apartment.

My heart stopped for a moment as nerves made my stomach flip. But memories of the nice afternoon we spent together came back to me and I found the strength to open the door. He looked quite casual but he quickly said that he would have to be changed at the church. I only gave him a small chuckle and waved his words away.

"That's alright, Andrew. We should get going so you don't get there late."

He gave me a nod and waited for me to step out so we could go to the elevator together. There was a melody in my ears from my heart that I wanted to sway to. But I kept steady like I did that afternoon. It's that invisible string pulling me closer as we arrive at the place. He introduced me to his family. Thank God they're seeing the best version of myself as they all happily greeted me. His sister is gorgeous. No wonder. It must run in the genes.

I watched a lot of people from my university years arrive. Some that I was surprised to see again and others that seemed to have known me but I had no idea who they were. But I happily said my hello to Daniel and warmly smiled at the way he took deep breaths. I never thought to see someone so put together become so nervous suddenly. Love does crazy things sometimes.

At one point as I quietly walk around the place to admire the forest-like decorations and take some pictures, I feel a gentle hand on my back. I jump back and my muscles relax when I see Andrew's small smirk.

"I didn't mean to startle you. I wanted to see if you were okay. I apologize for leaving you alone."

"No no! This is your sister's night! Go be with her! Don't worry about me."

He did a smile that showed dimples on his cheeks I did not know were there. It made my smile start on my lips at this hint of a childish look. He nodded and said, "Can I get you anything? Any water or something to eat?"

"I'm alright. Thank you. Go ahead and continue getting ready, Mr. Chu."

His smirk came back as his eyes teasingly sparkled. "I like it better when you call me by my name, Cristina."

I let him have a side smile and playfully said, "And I like it when you call me by my professional name."

He lets that little smile stay on his lips as his eyes sparkle with a playful expression. He gave me a head bow and said, "Don't get too lost, Dr. Wong. If you need anything, I'll be around."

My heart seemed to linger after him even if I was alone again. Finally, more people began to arrive and I anxiously waited for Leanne. I was feeling a little awkward by myself when everyone came with dates. Luckily, I had a nice chat with Grace until Leanne finally arrived. She sat behind me at one of the last benches of the church. I turned and she gave me her sweet smile while Emma had shining eyes filled with playfulness.

"You look so good! I knew this dress would be perfect!"

I slightly turned and whispered, "Why did you take forever?! I was all alone here looking sad."

"At least you look hot," Emma teasingly said.

Leanne raised her brows at me and whispered, "Where's your amazing date then?"
