Chapter Twenty Nine:

1 Day Before the Infiltration on the Entertainment District

"Can you teach me? How to manipulate all five breathing styles into elements?" Tanjiro asked you.

"No."

"Why not-?"

"Because I don't know how to either."

He gave you a bewildered look, "B-But-! I just saw you do it! You can wield all five elements with your bare hands! You don't even need breathing styles."

"Tanjiro, I do.. The only reason why I can do what I please with these elements is because of my Blood Demon Art. Because I am a demon. In recent eras, no human has been able to manipulate one element let alone all of them."

From the way Tanjiro's posture slightly slumped and the way his smile seemed to droop- you knew he was a little sad and disappointed. The kid obviously had some kind of hope of learning how to wield the core five breathing styles.

"Then why..show me all of this?"

"I thought we were talking about our feelings."

The red eyed boy suddenly felt bad for shutting down all the reasons why you were telling him this. It was obvious from the way you were so engrossed with manipulating raw elements— you hated the fact that you had to be a demon to be able to do it.

"..Sorry."

Present Time

"Huh..? HUH? (Name)?! (Name)-sama?! You think you're going to marry (Name)-sama!? Don't make me laugh. I'll kill you!" Gyutaro aggressively scratched his face.

"Brother! Your face! (Name)-sama won't like that!" Daki urgently scolded her brother, grabbing onto his wrists in an attempt to stop him.

"You're right. I won't like that." The two men snapped their heads towards you, "Now look at your beautiful face Gyutaro. It's all ruined- covered in scratches and blood."

"(Name)-!"

"Fix it."

Your words turned deadly. Gyutaro said nothing more but obeyed silently. His cuts healed in a matter of seconds. You could already tell that no matter what you say, those two (will probably listen) but will still fight. When it comes down to it, they're polar opposites. Hunters are to kill the hunted.

You turned around and jumped up to what used to be the second floor of the building before Tengen destroyed it, "I guess whoever kills the other first will get to marry me." You jest, but the three individuals who stood above the rumble thought it was far from a joke.
