High King Peter

Telmarison, 2313

Court was busy today, more than usual. However, that was to be expected with the return of Flint and the confirmation of someone coming back from Asshai with his siblings. Someone the blackbird was remaining ominously secretive about but eventually Lilliandil had gotten it out of the tiny bird by scratching his head just as he liked it so he momentarily forgot he was trying not to say a thing and let it slip.

The change had been instantaneous with the half-star. Barefoot as always with her long blonde hair intricately braided and ending in the centre of her back. Whilst happily married himself, no one could deny Lilliandil was a truly beautiful woman. So much so that when it broke that Caspian was courting her many assumed she had bewitched him somewhat and it almost ended in another revolt. They'd kept it quiet until then but that had been when he and his brother came forward with their own betrothals. It calmed the storm somewhat, but still not enough. Shaking his head as he spotted Elara spinning Serrian around considering he was still too young to be involved in lessons with the other children.

It was rare Lilliandil was shocked. It was rarer for her to show any kind of discomfort. Both of which she had been doing since they confirmed where they were going. She knew something, perhaps even knowing the mysterious woman in red heading their way. Yet it was clear she wasn't going to speak currently and so he walked over to his wife and when his youngest wasn't looking bent down to scoop him up and tilt him upside down over his shoulder. The two-year-old giggling furiously at such a thing and pounding on his back to be let down. Which he did after a few seconds alongside a few tickles.

Serrian had his mothers raven coloured hair that was incredibly common in Telmarine's, but he had his own bright blue eyes. Not as tan as his sister but darker than Nirso who looked the most like he himself did. Elara laughed a little at the byplay before shooing their son towards her father and his head advisor Lord Glagules. The Netvarn's were a very wealthy and influential family as far as Telmarine's went. Having grown in the last sixty years when his wife's great-grandfather sold everything after the death of his beloved wife to begin his true passion in customised weapon making. It was nowhere near as strong as dwarven steel, but it was much stronger than regular castle forged steel- and people paid a lot of money to have it. The secret even now was only shared with the few dwarves who knew the secret spells that were incorporated into Narnian steel. Due to the trade, they were all involved in the political side of aristocracy hence why he had accepted Lord Glagules as his own personal advisor.

"Where is Caspian?"

Peter asked, only noticing then the remaining monarch was nowhere in sight.

"Searching for Rilian who did not turn up for his lessons, again."

It had become a running joke now between them all, but it was not something they could let leak outside the walls of Telmarison. Rilian was the heir for Caspian's throne. It had been agreed that they themselves would officially step down from their own positions when the time came if they were still alive, but that hopefully wouldn't be for a long time. They were at peace, they were prospering. Not as much as they had during his first reign, but perhaps in time they would reach a similar level. If the people found out that the heir refused to go to lessons, it would look bad on them all. Lady Leoni walking over and breaking the conversation.

"Will our services be required, your Majesties?"

He hadn't even thought of that. Flint had only arrived back that morning after flying ahead, word had quickly spread. Just as many people were nervous as they were excited about what this meant for the future. The few Telmarine's that were had shocked him considering their typical reclusive nature.
