The day has barley even started and there was already a commotion. Once Julia exited her car she could hear yelling. She followed the crowd and saw Montgomery De La Cruz and Alex Standall fighting. She arrived just in time to see Alex tackling Monty to the ground and them just going off at each other.
She scanned to crowd and found Justin, so the girl quickly made her way towards him. "What the fuck are they fighting about?" Her eyes still glued to the two boys in the middle.
"No clue." He responded.
Julia watched how them fighting turned to Alex getting his ass beat by Monty. There was this weird feeling she had in her gut. Them fighting was bad, it meant that the school would ask more questions. And Alex didn't seem like he'd hide the truth anymore.
She zoned out and the next thing she saw was Mr. Porter dragging Monty away from Alex. "Stop it. I said stop it." He successfully cooled them down a little. Monty took a step back from the man. "What the hell is going on?"
"He started it." He pointed to Alex like a little boy.
"Yeah? So what are you doing?"
Monty glanced through the crowd, "Finishing it." If it was any other situation Julia would've laughed along with the crowd of students.
"You think that's funny? Yeah? Come on let's go." Mr. Porter started dragging Monty with him, "Everybody, go to class. Show is over. Go to class!"
Julia glanced towards Alex who was still on the ground in pain, she sighed and started to help him up. "Come on. "You're a fucking idiot by the way." When she looked back Justin was gone. "You gotta be kidding me?" She muttered under her breath. How was she supposed to carry him alone?
"I got it, Julia, thank you." The girl heard Mr. Porter say and she turned towards him. A look of relief on her face.
She gave him a faint smile, one that didn't quiet reach her eyes, "Oh. Thank you."
Julia shared a look with Monty before making her way into the building. On the way there though she saw Clay talking to Sheri. The Sanchez girl shook her head before finally entering the school.
Oh My Dollar Valentines. You fill out a survey, and just for a buck, you get the name and number of your one true soul mate. And the proceeds went to cheer camp.
"Sheri, I am so sorry, but those hearts look like butts." Jessica told her.
Julia started laughing, "Oh, my gosh. They do." The whole cheer team was making valentines decorations to hang around the school.
