We used to be close, but
people can go
From people you know to
people you don't
And what hurts the most is
people can go
From people you know to
people you don't

And Mrs. Antilly was damn good at her job, because for a while they were always he kind of friends you wish you had. The three girls grew closer and closer together. It's not like Julia abandoned her other friends, she just wasn't as close to them anymore.

Her best friend was Sherri Holland, Julia still hung out with the girl very frequently. But there was something about this new friendship that made her treat it as the most valuable thing in her life at the time.

After one of many shopping spree's the three of them had, they ended up at Monet's, like always.

Jessica was holding up a pastel purple top, which Julia made her buy. It looked too good on Jessica to not buy.

"That top is perfect for you." Hannah commented.

"It shows too much of my arms. They're so fat." Jessica shoved the top back into the bag.

Julia raised her brows, "Please shut up, they so aren't."

Hannah scoffed and nodded her head, "Julia's right, they're not."

"I have substitute teacher arms." Jessica insisted.

"No you don't. You're literally perfect, Jess." Julia said. She then looked through her own purse pulling put a white babydoll dress. "I'm thinking this with my brown boots."

"Oh, and that new gold necklace." Jessica added. Julia thought about it for a second before nodding her head, agreeing.

  "Uh-oh. We've got a stalker." Hannah announced.

  "Where?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah, where?" Julia added, she tried to subtly look around the room, there was a guy sitting a table away from them with a buzz cut and bleached hair. She noticed him looking over here a couple of times.

"Play it cool. Three o'clock." Hannah said.

  "It's after three."

"No, three o'clock. Directional." Hannah tried to explain it to the girl sitting in front of her but Jessica apparently didn't know what clock positions meant. And if Julia was honest, she had no clue either. "Oh, my God, your dad is a fighter pilot."

"He's a logistics expert, mostly." Jessica defended herself. Julia had enough of their yapping and subtly hit Jessica on the arm. When the other girl noticed Julia looked over to the guy and Jessica followed her gaze.
