The Girl of Legends - Aang x OC

Avatar Day

We were just sleeping at this camp we made in the woods when fire nation soldiers on rhinos suddenly came all around us.

"Give up. You're completely surrounded."

A man with arrows shot at Sokka and he dodged. We ran to get onto Appa. When Katara forgot to grab her scrolls. She ran back to go get it. Then Aang forgot his staff, so he ean back to go get it. Then I forgot my Water from the oasis, So I went to go get it.

We then all got on and flew away. But Sokka forgot his boomerang.

"Wait my Boomerang."

"Theres no time Sokka."

"Oh I see so theres time to grab your scrolls, your staff, your fancy water but no time for my boomerang."

"Thats correct."

We then landed a few hours away in a village. Me and Katara bought some food and Sokka was all sad about his boomerang.

Katara payed for out stuff then the man said "Have a good avatar day."

"Avatar day?" Aang asked.

"You guys are going to the festival right?" The man said walking away.

We decided to check out the festival and Aang was really excited.

"Theres a holiday for the avatar. Who knew"

Then a bunch of huge floats came firat it was kyoshi then roku, then Aang.

"Having a huge festival in your honor is great but frankly, its hustle nice to hear appreciated."

"you know Aang i'm the avatar too." I said crossing my arms.

"But people don't know that you are a Girl of Legends. Like how the monks described. Plus we cant have people knowing there are two avatars just yet, you know that"

"Yeah yeah" I said rolling my eyes.

"You guys have fun with this I am going to go train." I said walking back to where we left Appa and Momo. Which was just outside of the town near a small river.

I just needed to calm myself down. Although it wasn't fair that Aang got all the attention. I knew I was jealous but I wasn't going to say it.

I started practicing on a technique, it was the one technique that I have yet to master. Which was Ice Dome. Which is where you surround your enemy in a sphere of water and freeze it, trapping your opponent inside.

It has always been tough for me which I have no idea why. But it is what it is.

I was practicing that's technique for a few hours. Time had passed by so fast. So I decided to go look for the group again. I got my water tribe outfit on and my hat that covers my arrows and went out.

I found Aang dressed as Kyoshi and everyone from the village watching. I went over to sit with Katara and Sokka.

"What is he doing"

"Shhhh"

"This is a mockery of Chin Law" the only person dressed in a different colour said.

"Please sir if you could just wait one more second. I am sure kyoshi will be here."

"Hey everybody Avatar Kyoshi here." Aang said in a high pitched voice.

"This is ridiculous. For the murder of Chin the Great, This court finds the Avatar...."

Then suddenly I was pushed by a gust of wind-into a dust tornado with Aang. The world around us turned a brown-ish colour. After that I don't remember anything.

We came back as our selves. Me and Aang were about to faint. Sokka caught me Katara caught Aang.

"What just happened." I said in a very groggy tone.

"You guys just kind of confessed."

"And I find you.... GUILTY! Bring out the wheel of punishment!"

Then the crowd of towns people started cheering.

"I said I would face justice, so I will" Aang said turning to the wheel. He spun it and it landed on Boiled in Oil.

Then a bomb suddenly went off and a bunch of fire nation soldiers on rhinos came out of nowhere.

"We have come to claim this village for the firelord! Now show me your leader, so I may dethrone him." one of the soldiers said with a smile.

"Thats him over there" one of the towns people said.

"Hey you Avatar. Do something."

"Gee, Id love to help, but i'm supposed to be boiled in oil." Aang said.

"There community service" The leader said moving the wheel of punishments. "now serve our community and get rid of those rhinos".

Aang started running towards the men taking of the Kyoshi outfit at the same time. He blew the first man away fairly easily. Then he chased the rhinos that ran into town. He was dodging firey arrows left and right.

Katara stopped a man quickly too. Using her water bending to tie him up with his own weapon.

Aang was left with the final man. before the man could even attack. I attacked from above. Using the training I learned that day and used the technique Ice Dome. Me, Aang and the rest of the group got rid of the men for good.

•A few hours later•

"From now on we will celebrate a new Avatar Day, In honor of the day Avatar Aang saved us from the rough rhino invasion."

"What is this?" Sokka said holding up a bowl of something.

"That is our new festival food. Un Fried dough"The mayor of the town said.

Aang then pulled me away and told me something.

"Happy Avatar day to the girl of Legends." He said with a smile pulling out a necklace he made.

"Can I" He said implying he wanted to put it on me.

"Yes. Thank you Aang it's beautiful. I love it. I will never take it off."

"I made it after the whole Avatar thing. We had some time and I know you wouldn't get recognition for being the Avatar. But I have a feeling the Fire Nations knows.... But other than that you don't get recognition like I do so thats why I made it for you."
