Katniss' POV
I can't move. My body is numb and I'm not sure if I'm even blinking. My eyes aren't burning so I presumably am. The pain from the arm where Johanna cut out my tracker is gone like it was never even there.
I enjoy the moment. The only moment in the games where I am at peace. But that moment is ruined when peacekeepers appear on top of me. The ringing in my ears made their footsteps unavailable for the ears to hear.
They squat down and I don't even feel myself being lifted up but I know that I am. There is no doubt that they are not trying to be careful considering my vision is very shaky.
When the peacekeepers have been carrying me for a while now and my eyes are fighting to remain open because if I close them I might never open them again.
Hands are pulling and yanking on me for me to fall in the pit of sleep and I'm holding onto the rim with my pinkies. One of my pinkies can't take it anymore and lets go. It's only a matter of seconds until the other pinkie slips and I fall into a deep slumber.

Loud, arguing whispers awaken me. I don't dare to open my eyes and am determine to hear what the whispers are about.
"Be quiet! You might wake her up!" A woman's voice says with an accent from the Capitol. That means that I am in the Capitol.
"She won't but as soon as she does we have to tell the president." Another woman's voice says but her voice is more high pitched and her Capitol accent is thicker.
Tell the president? That gives me all the more reason not to wake up.
I spend God knows how long contemplating if I should open my eyes or not but after a while it's hard not to open them and look around.
I can't take it anymore and my eyes shoot open. My eyes squint when the bright light enters my pupils however I get used to it after several seconds. The voices have disappeared and when I lift my head up I see that no one is in the room. The room itself is completely white except for a red bandage around wrist, a paper with scribbles written on it, and my own body.
When I try to get up, I feel myself attached to a few wires to me with stickers which I rip of with a couple of arm hairs. I march to the door that is apparently locked. There are no windows I can escape through. But where would I go if I did escape? I don't know anything about the layout of the Capitol.
I jiggle the door handle one last time but that only made things worse because I hear someone saying, "She's awake! Tell the others!"
Loud footsteps become louder every stride and I just stand there waiting for the person to come in. The door opens and I try to make my way through the occupied doorway but I get held back by peacekeepers. I didn't bother looking at the person that came though the door but when the peacekeepers have my hands behind my back and I've blown my recently messed up hair out of my face, I see the person I least wanted to see. President Snow.
"Ms. Everdeen, how are you?" He says like I'm not being held by peacekeepers.
I don't answer and glare at him with all the hate that is in me, which is way too much.
"Maybe we should chat somewhere else. This area has a quite tiresome atmosphere, don't you think?" He says, folding his arms with an evil smile on his wrinkly face. Again, I do not speak. "I'll take that as a yes." He nods his head to the peacekeepers signaling him to follow him.
I am being dragged without any mercy, my toes burning as they scrape the floor.
I get placed in a wooden chair with ropes around my ankles and wrists while President Snow sits in a red velvet chair, a desk separating us.
