gregory's pov ////////////////
It was the fourth of july. Me, Evan and Elizabeth were all in the backyard and Michael and Jeremy were in the living room inside playing on their Nintendo NES and our parents were talking to eachother. Music was playing and fireworks were going off above us and we three layed in the grass in the yard. Elisabeth looked over at Evan "I'm getting tired i might go to bed" she said. "okay, goodnight lizzie sleep well" Evan said hugging her. he's such a sweetheart. i turned my attention to the music
"The Smiths" Evan said almost reading my mind. "Do you like them?" i asked "yes of course! who doesn't like the smiths?" he said. i laughed at him. Vanessa and Mr. Afton walked over to us and hovered over us. i sat up.
"Hey boys, Me Vanessa and Rosetta are all going out for a drink okay? Mike and Jeremy are inside if you need anything."
we both said okay and i laid back on the grass
"hey uh, what was that the other night?"
"what was what?"
"uh-" evan paused.
"at the fair"
i didn't really know what to say to him.
"i uh.. i don't know to be honest, if your uncomfortable with what happened then we don't have to ever do it again and just ignore it i guess-" Evan cut me off.
"what no! i'm not uncomfortable with it, i just.. kind of don't know what to think of it."
"i don't know what to think of you" he said
"What do you mean?"
"i like you, but i've never really thought about liking a boy before."
"Oh.." i said
"Maybe i could help you with that"
"how?"
"i uh- don't know. but we could try something"
he looked at me waiting for what i was going to say.
"If you kiss me again you might be able to figure out if you like it or not. you don't have to if you don't want to, but it's an option."
"okay.."
he sat up a little bit and leaned over my face. he pushed his lips onto mine and i felt the same feeling i felt at the fair. i really do like someone i just met. how can i love someone i just met? we kissed different then we did at the fair. his hand were on my chest and i ran my fingers through his hair. this kiss was longer then the last and lasted for a few minutes. it was more of a make out then a kiss but still.

"What Jeremy?" Jeremy leaned out the screen door and looked into the backyard.
Mike leaned out the back door to see his brother kissing Gregory. "Dude i didn't know your brother is gay too"
"I didn't either"
"Guess it runs in your family." Jeremy said shrugging and walking away.
"Shut the fuck up you dumb blonde"
