Before I could say or do anything, I was back in my room in Heaven and the portal closed.

I stood there in shock for a moment before finally coming to my senses.
"Wait... what?!"
Everything happened so fast. I didn't get the answers I was seeking. Sure he showed me one of his dreams but he didn't explain why Heaven thought the need to throw him out.

I looked outside of my window and noticed it was still nighttime.

So time moves the same in both realms. Good to know.

Because I'm going back tomorrow.

After some sleep, the following morning arrived and I got ready for another day of training.
I decide to walk to council hall instead of flying. For once I'm not late and it's still too early in the morning to navigate the skies.
"Hey! Winnie!"

I should have flown.

I turn and smile as Adam walks up to me.
"Good morning, Adam"

Adam and I had a love hate relationship... he loved me and I hated him.
Haha just kidding.

Kinda.

I don't really hate him he's just uhhhh...
"What is up bitch?!"

That.

"Just on my way to another training sesh. Where are you off to?"
"Going to meet Lute to talk about important angel business things. Oh, by the way I stopped by your place last night but I guess you weren't home."
Uh oh.
"Oh uh n-no I was. I must've just not heard you, haha. See I was practicing my powers. To become a Seraphim. And studying Heaven's laws of course. I had music playing so that's probably why I didn't hear you."

"Ya know that's really smart of you. You're going to be a great Seraphim."
Whew.
"T-thank you, Adam."

I didn't realize it but we walked all the way to council hall together.
"I guess this is my stop," I stop walking and turn towards him, "Good luck with your important angel business. And tell Lute I said hi."
"Will do. Good luck with your training. And don't tell Sera I said hi." He winks and then flies off in the other direction.

I admit, he can be nice when he wants to be.

I enter council hall and go straight to Sera's office. Today we were focusing on powers where if we focused on laws, like yesterday, we would be in the grand council room. I knocked on her door and heard a soft 'come in'. I entered her room and training begun.

To say I was exhausted was an understatement. Who knew teleporting a book would be so difficult. For some reason I had an affinity for opening portals, which is why I'm able to do them so well already.

As soon as I got back to my room all I wanted to do was crash on my soft bed. But I still had a job to finish and answers to find.

So, with a yawn, I opened another portal to Hell. This time I made sure to open it right in front of Lucifer's front door. Right before I could step through I heard a knock on my door.
"Elowyn?"
SERA?! What is she doing here?!
"One second!" I quickly close the portal and open the door for her. "Sera, what's up?"
"I wanted to check in with you after today and also see how your studying was going." She winks at me.

Adam you sonuva...

Oh well, I would've had to come with an excuse at some point. "Oh! Right, well I am certainly hard at work." I force a smile.
"It's so great to hear that. I'm proud of you Elle." She smiles at me in almost a motherly way.
"Oh... thank you."
"But I will be expecting improvement at our next lesson."
Aaaand back into teacher mode. What am I gonna do?! Now I actually HAVE to practice.
"Of course! I should really be getting back to it then."
She nods, "Goodnight Elowyn."
"Goodnight," I close the door once she leaves.

That was close. Now back to it. I open the portal once again and step through, this time without any interruptions. With a snap of my fingers, my halo and wings disappear once again. I walk up to the front door and knock.
Nelson opens it. "Ah, miss. I suppose you are here to speak with the Lord again?"
"Good day Nelson and yes, I am."
"Is his majesty aware you came back today?"
"Uhhhhh..."

"Nelson? Who's at the door?"
Lucifer comes into view behind Nelson and his eyes widen once they land on me. Then immediately shrink back into a 'really? again?' expression.
I laugh softly and manage a small wave.
He sighs, "Don't worry Nelson, I got this one."
Nelson bows and leaves us, probably to do other more important things.

Lucifer allows me to come inside and closes the door behind me. "What're you doing here? I thought we were done? I answered your question."
"Actually I was hoping you could elaborate?"
He huffs and starts to walk away. So, naturally, I follow. "Pleaseeee? I know there's more you're not telling me because there's no way you were banished because of ducks."
He stops walking and turns to me with a raised eyebrow. I grin widely, put on my best puppy dog eyes, and clasp my hands together in a pleading manner.

He sighs again, "Fine."
"Yes!" I pump my fists in the air a do a little jump.
"BUT don't think this will become a reoccurring thing, cause it's not." He solidifies his statement but pointing a finger at me.
Then he leads me to his workshop and my second lesson of the day begins.
