Flying faster than I ever have before, I spot Charlie on the ground with the others.
"Charlie!"
"Is that your mother?!"

I land next to Charlie and Vaggie right as an angel attacks. Swinging my sword to block it I quickly counteract and slice into the angel.

Damn that feels good.

"Mom?! What're you doing here?! And why do you look..."
"Sexy?"
"Angel!"
"Whaaaat?"

Vaggie cuts in front of us to defend while we're distracted. "Focus please!"

"Why is the shield down?"
"It was Adam. He's on the roof fighting Alastor right now."

Spinning Charlie around me I kick an angel away and block another's attack.

Suddenly we're hit by a blast from the sky.

Adam.

"What? But Alastor was supposed to handle him. Oh no he must be..."
"Move!" I grab both girls as more blasts shoot our way.
"We aren't gonna be able to do anything unless we do something about him."

A rumbling noise comes from the hotel and we turn to see a giant air blimp of sorts detach from the side of the building.

"That crazy motherfucker."
"Angel, who's in there?"
"It's Pentious toots."

As the airship moves closer to Adam I brace myself for an impact.

Adam turns.

He incinerated the ship in one blow.

"NOOOO!"
Vaggie and I rush over to Charlie and she falls to the ground.

She breaks free of us and calls on Razzle and Dazzle. They transform into their demon modes and so does Charlie. Vaggie joins her as they ride up in the sky to Adam.

They're almost there when Lute flies down and attacks Dazzle and Vaggie.
"Vaggie!"
As they fall Charlie is distracted and Adam takes this chance to strike.

"NO! Charlie!" I race up to the roof as fast as I can but exorcists keep getting in my way.

By the time I reach the top Adam has knocked Charlie down.
"AAARGHHHH!"
I slam into Adam and push him to the other side of the roof.

"Back away from my daughter you bitch!"
I stand in front of Charlie with my sword held out in front of me.

"Mom!"

"Winnie?!"

"Winnie?"

Adam chuckles, "Oh, it's on."

He lunges at me but I parry it with my sword. Striking back I swing at his face but he ducks it and manages a blow to my torso. Staggering back I place a portal right in front of me as he swings his weapon only for him to cut himself as I place another portal right behind him. I scoff as he cries out in pain.

"Okay, two can play at that game you cunt."

He attacks faster than before and I can't keep up. I was never taught in combat after all. I was interested in sword fighting so I dabbled a bit but I never trained like an exorcist.
Before I can react, Adam makes a cut on my right cheek and knocks the sword out of my hand. He then grabs my throat, lifting me off the ground.
