(a/n: hello friends!! just wanna say thank you so so much for 500 reads!! I didn't think we'd get to 5 read, let alone 500!! as a small thank you for now, I'll drop an edit I made at the end and maybe in a few days time I'll post an actual one shot to celebrate. but for now, take this, shut up and enjoy it <3)

Y/N's POV

"Are you ready for your first ever Twitch stream?!" I looked over at my boyfriend Max, aka Pezzy. "Yeah..." I started biting my nails. "What's wrong?" He gently squeezed my free hand. "It's just...what if they don't like me?" "Babe, they'll love you. What are you talking about?" "Max, I've read stories like this. The guy gets a new girl, his fans don't like her." "Baby, look at me. That's a story. This is real life. It won't happen. And I can assure you if it does my mods will ban anyone that leaves a hate comment directed at you." That made me feel much better. "Thank you, Max..." We both shared a kiss before he started his stream.

"Hi, chat! I've got a very special guest with me today!" "Hello!" I waved. "This is my girlfriend, Y/N!" As the stream carried on I would over at Max's chat every so often and it would be filled with nothing but hate towards me but I did my best to ignore it. "Baby, the race is over!" Max gently shook my shoulder, snapping me out of my daze. "Sorry, I was just thinking." As Max was deciding on another mario kart map to play he got another donation, which was normal. But this one was different.

"Oh my god, will that annoying bitch ever shut the fuck up, she's getting on my nerves." I started tearing up. "I'm sorry, I have to go..." I left Max's office and locked myself in the bathroom.

Pezzy's POV

I couldn't believe what just happened. Someone had the audacity to donate to tell my girlfriend, someone I loved and cared for, to basically fuck off.

"How fucking dare you tell someone I love and care about, my own girlfriend, to shut up. I've seen every single message that all of you have sent bullying my girlfriend, sending nothing but hate towards her. For what? Just for being with me? I will make sure that my mods ban every single person whose directed hate towards Y/N tonight. And by the way, if I see anyone send anymore hate towards her, you are not welcome here. This is the only time I will say this."

I cut my stream short and went to find Y/N. As I passed by the bathroom I could hear sobbing on the other side of the door, breaking my heart. "Y/N?" I gently knocked on the door. "Can I come in?" I heard the sound of the door unlocking and I came face to face with Y/N, tears streaming down her face. "I'm so sorry, love..." I hugged her tight as she cried in my arms.

"What did I do wrong, Max?" She looked up at me. "Baby, you did nothing wrong. I promise you." I reassured her. "Why do they hate me so much?" "Baby I don't know why they're acting like this, I really don't." Y/N looked up at me. "You didn't know they were gonna be like that." I wiped her tears away.

"I cut the stream early, we'll just go to bed." "Okay. Um, can you carry me please?" "Of course!" A few minutes later as we were lying in bed I decided to make a tweet about what happened earlier.

Pezzy__: a big fuck you to anyone who sent hate towards Y/N tonight. I won't be streaming for the rest of the week until you learn to actually treat my girlfriend with the same amount of respect you give me.

I posted the same thing to my Instagram story and put my phone down. "Baby, I'm so sorry about what happened earlier." By now Y/N was over it but I was still in a state of shock and disgust. "Max, I've told you, it's fine, it's just people being dicks for no reason." "I'm not gonna be streaming for the rest of the week until they learn to actually have respect for you." Y/N's jaw dropped but she quickly closed it, probably to argue against my decision.

"Thanks for standing up for me, babe..." She snuggled up to me and kissed my cheek. "Love, you know I would do anything for you." I kissed her back. "Even feed Sly her late dinner?" Then as if on cue Sly let out the loudest meow either of us had ever heard, making us both laugh hysterically as I got out of bed to feed her.

THE NEXT DAY...

Since I had cancelled all of my streams for the rest of the week me and Y/N were having a chill day at home. As I was scrolling through Twitter I saw I was trending, which left me confused. I had a look and saw that fans were writing apologies to both me and Y/N with the hashtag #WeAreSorryPezzyAndY/N.

"Babe?" "Yeah?" "Can you come here a second?" Y/N walked into the living room and sat down next to me. "Just have a look at this." I passed her my phone. "Wait, what? Did you tell them to do this?" "No, I didn't!" "Well, it's really sweet of them to apologise...I forgive them." "Are you sure?" "I'm sure. I'll always have the odd few people that'll hate me." "Yeah, that's true." "Can I make a tweet?" "Yeah, go on."

Pezzy__: hellooo!! thank you for all the sweet messages about me and Max!! I forgive you all <3 - Y/N

Y/N handed me my phone back and I set it down. "Thanks for sticking up for me, babe..." She kissed my cheek. "You're welcome, my love..." I kissed her back.
