Y/N's POV
I heard a ringing coming from my laptop, which confused me since it was nearly 10pm here in the UK. But as soon as I saw who the incoming call was from I quickly accepted it. "Hey, sweetheart!" There it is. The voice of my boyfriend Max, also known as Pezzy to his friends and fans. "I miss you." "I miss you too..." I don't know if my brain was running on internet explorer but I only just realised that his camera was off.
"Baby why do you have your camera off?" I stared at the blank screen confused. "Well, I've actually got a surprise for you." "Ooh, okay! Do I have to cover my eyes?" "I mean, you can if you want to." I covered my eyes. "Can I open them now?" "In a minute...and...now you can!" I uncovered my eyes and gasped. There was my boyfriend, but he was now wearing glasses.
"Oh my god! I- When did you get them?" "Only a few days ago! Do you like them?" "I love them!" I felt like a schoolgirl who just got noticed by their crush. I couldn't stop staring at Max as he was telling me about this game of Mario Party he was going to be streaming with Droid, Puffer and Grizzy. "...yeah! Hopefully Nintendo doesn't bully Gri- darling, are you even listening to me?" My heart skipped a beat.
"Sorry..." I sheepishly grinned. "I- I can't stop staring at you, you're really hot with glasses on..." Pezzy raised an eyebrow, only making me blush harder. "You know how I feel about glasses..." "Remind me again." "For me, they make anyone ten times hotter." "Oh, really?" Max lowered his glasses and I felt my heart do backflips. "I- I'm just going to ignore you and tell you about my day. Um..." Max burst out laughing and I couldn't help but laugh with him.
"I might go to sleep, I'm getting tired..." I yawned. "I'll call you once you wake up, okay?" "Okay..." I sleepily nodded. "Goodnight, sweetheart." "Bye bye..." I waved at him. "I love you!" "I love you more, and tell Sly I miss her." "I will!" I blew him a kiss before ending the call and curling up in my hotel room bed, finally getting some well deserved sleep after a hellish flight here.
ONE WEEK LATER...
I was now back at home, but Max didn't know it just yet. Droid did and offered to help me surprise him. "Y/N, are you sure this'll work?" "I'm sure, Droid!" I looked up at him from inside the cardboard box I was currently in. "Well, hope you like a bumpy ride to Pezzy's house!" Droid waved to me before closing the top and taping it shut.
Pezzy's POV
I was reading one of Y/N's books she had lent me when I heard a knock on the door. I set the book down and I could hear Droid's voice calling out for help on the other side. "What is it?" "I got a delivery earlier but I think they got the wrong address, I- I don't know." I had a look at the box and sure enough my address was on the box, although I didn't recall ordering something this big.
"Whoa, holy shi- do you need any help?" "Nah, I got it." I stared at the box in confusion. "Do you have any scissors or a knife you can open it with?" "Yeah, I'll go get some scissors." After coming back downstairs with some scissors I started to cut it open. Once I had done so I opened up the box and gasped.
"Hello!" Y/N stood up. "What are you doing here, I thought you weren't gonna be home until Thursday!" I helped her out and hugged her tight. "I managed to find an early flight home! And, thanks to Droid, a box big enough to fit me in and a new toy for Sly!" After Droid left I helped Y/N unpack. "Oh my god, I missed you so much..." I left kisses all over her face. "I missed you more!" I blushed as Y/N kissed my forehead.
"Was Sly well behaved whilst I was gone?" "Surprisingly, yes." Y/N stared at me, almost fixated on something. "Do I have something on my face?" "Your glasses..." "Oh yeah." I quickly them on and I swear I saw Y/N's pupils dilate. "Oh wow..." I tried really hard to hold back my laughter. "You're really pretty..." I blushed harder as Y/N left a kiss on the end of my nose.
"I just...I can't believe you're really back..." I hugged her tight. "I wanted to keep it a surprise!" "I was so confused because I knew I didn't order anything lately!" Y/N burst into a fit of laughter, in turn making me laugh.
THE NEXT DAY...
Y/N's POV
Max had asked me to join his stream today but unfortunately due to having a class right around the same time I couldn't. But I had his stream on whilst I studied. "Oh yeah, and this is for Y/N because I know she's gonna be watching." I watched as he put his glasses on and brought them down the bridge of his nose.
"Hey sweetheart, you doing okay?" I took my laptop upstairs and opened his office door. "Hello!" I sat down next to him. "My chat's missed you!" "Awe! Hi, chat!" I waved as Max's chat greeted me. "Do you wanna stay here with me?" "Um..." I giggled as Max's chat begged me to stay. "Okay!" After finished my class I watched as Max played yet another horror game.
"You're gonna have a heart attack playing one of these!" I turned to him. "I'm gonna die on stream!" "Content. Monetise your death." He immediately burst out laughing. A few minutes later Max got a donation with a message. "Question for Y/N, what do you think of Pezzy with glasses?" Max smirked at me. "Chat, I'm gonna be honest with you, he looks hot. Okay? Enough said." "You say that all the time, though." "Because it's true!" I kissed his cheek.
"Goddamn..." I watched over his shoulder as he carried on playing. After a lot of screaming and headphones throwing, Max ended his stream. "You wanna watch a movie?" "Yeah, sure!" I snuggled up to Max as the movie started playing. "Do you know what you need now that you've got those glasses?" "What?" "Either a really fancy suit or a turtleneck, something like that." "Babe, is there something we need to talk about? Is this a kink thing?" I hid my face in my hands, muffling my laughter.
"No, it's not!" After calming down we were back to watching the movie. "Max?" "Yeah?" "Can I try your glasses on?" "Yeah, hold on..." He slipped them on me. "Jesus Chri- how do I look?" "Cute!" I handed them back to him. "I probably didn't look as good as you do right now." And that was how we spent the remainder of our day, going back and forth about who looked better with glasses on.
