I caught up to Avery and we both plunged into the cool, refreshing water, the waves gently lapping at our bodies. We swam for a while, enjoying the freedom of the open sea

As we made our way back to shore, I grabbed Avery's hand and pulled her close. The sun was beginning to set and I knew exactly where to go.

"Hey Heiress," I said softly looking into her eyes. "I have something I want to show you." With a mischievous smile, I led her to a hidden alcove in the rocks from where you could see the sunset from the best angle on this beach.

The water was calm, the only sound being the gentle splashing of the oars. I pulled her closer and wrapped my arms around her leaving only a few millimeters between our lips. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a coin. "Heads, I kiss you. Tails, you kiss me. And either way, it means something.". I said with a devastating smile.

Avery smiled, her eyes reflecting the colours of the setting sun.

I flipped the coin. "Tails," I said.

Without hesitation, she pulled closer to me. She kissed me and I knew exactly what to do back.

Her hands in my hair and mine around her neck.

The fireworks were bursting and this time she wasn't scared.
