Y/n's POV

You sent him a look of confusion and watched as he looked at the mark on your wrist from the curse. He traced it gently with his finger, sending shivers down your spine from his cold hands and then let go. He began,
" I'll teach you how to warg, it may help you understand how to use your curse to get back,"

So you sat down on the bed in front of him and listened to him explain the first steps of warging. He explained how he learned from a male called Jojen Reed, who sacrificed himself for Bran. You closed your eyes and tried to do what he says, but nothing was happening. You opened your eyes and let out a frustrated sigh.

He exclaimed,
" You're blocking yourself from accessing your power. What's bothering you? Is it love, fear? "

You didn't respond and thought for a few moments. You never really focused on why you hated the fact that you were powerful. Bran analysed your expression, your eyebrows were furrowed and you nervously played with your hands. He broke the silence,
" You're scared of hurting the people you love,"

You didn't even realise that was the problem until now. He knew by your silence that he was right. You let out a small exhale and listened to Bran talk about how you need to get over that fear.

When you did, you felt your eyes roll back and turn pure white before taking the eyes of some crows outside. You internally panicked and returned to your body whilst sending a shocked look at Bran. He let out a low chuckle, but somehow still showed his emotionless face.

A knock on the door was heard and with Bran's permission, Daenerys walked in. She glanced between you both and sent you a small smile,
" Wanna take a ride with our dragons? It'll be out first time,"

You looked at Bran, and he just nodded, letting you go. Excitedly, you got up and followed Daenerys outside onto the hills of Winterfell. Luckily, Sansa let you borrow one of her warm jackets, it was a bit big but it kept you warm.

Rhaenyra was stood beside Drogon when you both went up and you smiled when you saw how much happier she looked now that she was back home. Viserys was somewhere hunting but he always left, so it didn't worry you.

You climbed onto your dragon and flew over Winterfell and over the hill tops with Daenerys. You both laughed together as the wind blew your pale hair over your shoulder. This was the most fun you have had in a long time. After flying for a few hours, you landed the dragons on the same mountains to let them have some rest.

Daenerys walked over to you and placed her arm over your shoulder,
" It's been a while. We should do this more often after we take back what was rightfully ours,"

You nodded in agreement,
" But first let's beat the night king,"

She laughed and walked back to Winterfell with you. All the workers were working on weapons and large wood spikes that were being placed both in front of the castle walls and within. Daenerys had walked off with her friend to meet someone called Sam.

Your eye caught all the scared and frightened kids in the corner, nervously eating their soup. Some of their parents weren't around, and if they were they just clung to their parents like their life depended on it. You felt sympathy towards them. They were only kids and their life could be taken, or even the ones they love.

You decided to cheer them up by walking over and sitting on a wooden box in front of them.
You sent them a generous and welcoming smile,
" Who wants to hear a story? It's one of my favourites,"

They glanced at each other hesitantly since you weren't originally from here. The parents thought for a moment before allowing their children to move closer and listen, knowing that they had to calm them down somehow. All their little eyes were on you as you told the story in an excited manner.

" There once was a princess born with beautiful golden hair. She possessed a power no other has, the power to heal due to a magical flower her Mother had consumed when she was in her tummy,"

The kids faces lit up in interest and moved closer. A little girl, no older than 3 sat on your knee and listened closely, all their fear vanishing immediately. You continued,
" However, one woman wanted to keep that power for herself, to keep herself young. So she took the princess and raised her as her own,"

The kids visibly gasped in surprise and one girl asked in the crowd, clutching onto her teddy bear,
" What happened to the parents?"

You responded, booping the girls nose, making her laugh gently. The parents smiled at the sight and sent you a thankful gaze. You didn't even realise Tyrion and Sansa were watching from afar, same with Bran.
" They searched and searched for their lost daughter, but they couldn't find her. So every night on her birthday, they released thousands of floating lanterns into the night sky, hoping that their daughter would return to them,"

From afar, Tyrion watched you ease the kids fear and make them smile and laugh, even in the most darkest times. He commented,
" She'll also be a good Queen,"

Sansa hummed in response,
" And a Mother. Maybe she'll be better than her Aunt. She seems more kinder than her,"

When you finished the story, the little girl that was on your lap had fallen asleep from how good the story was. Some kids fell asleep on their parents and the others were left smiling from the story. You rocked the girl gently in your arms and placed her back into her Mother's arms.

The North seemed to trust you more than Daenerys, and right now, she didn't know that you and Jon were a threat to her claim to the iron throne.
