Y/n's POV

Arya stepped forward and asked with her hands behind her back. She showed no bad intentions, at least you try ought so,
" What do you think of your Auntie, Y/n?"

You were not expecting her to ask that. You glanced at Sansa and Bran to see that they were also waiting for an answer curiously. You inhaled deeply to control your nerves and replied,
" She's the only family member left. I love her as family and I will do anything to make her happy,"

Arya just nodded and glanced at her sister, signalling her to continue. This made you more confused than you already were and increased your anxiety. Sansa asked another question,
" What happens when she finds out that the we prefer you over her? What happens when the people find out she's infertile and you're not?"

Bran added,
" You've noticed how she is changing. She's turning more and more like her Father, meaning she will kill you if you're a threat to the iron throne,"

You stayed silent but deep down you knew it was true. She was changing and it broke your heart that she wasn't the same Auntie you knew anymore. Not to mention the fact that she would kill her only family member left for it. You wiped a small tear that formed in the corner of your eye and finally answered the question,
" I don't know, to be honest with you. She's like the Mother I never had,"

Sansa just sighed, even though there was a hint of sympathy laced within her gaze. In truth, Daenerys was the only one you had left, other than the dragons, but that's different. You then thought about Malfoy and a pain in your heart surfaced at the thought of leaving him for to long.

Sansa exclaimed,
" As the Lady of Winterfell, the Starks have your back, not hers,"

You couldn't help but smile at her words.

It was the day of attacking King's Landing, and you set off riding Rhaenyra around the other side with Daenerys going a different way. When you arrived at King's Landing, you saw that she only had one dragon left. Pure rage filled your mind from another one of her dragons being slayed as you burnt all of Cercei's army and weapons around the kingdom.

You then watched in shock and horror as Daenerys burnt innocent people in most of the Kingdom. The screams of pain scarred your ears for life and from above, you saw a little girl crying in the corner and was about to face the fire.
You knew in that moment that your Aunt was truly gone.

You dove down with Rhaenyra and grabbed the little girl before she got burnt to death like all the other civilians that were trying to run away. She cried into your chest on your dragon in the sky, her little body shaking from fear. She had blonde hair that used to be in pigtails but was messy now from all the running.

You asked,
" What's your name, little one?"

" Rhaya,"

You and your dragon, including Viserys, flew over to Cercei's castle and began to destroy it.
Daenerys came over and sent you a smirk but it dropped when she saw the little girl gripping onto you for life, but decided to ask later. She helped you take down Cercei and the only thing that was left was half of the castle with Cercei being killed under the rubble.

When the mission was finished, you landed beside Daenerys and watched her walk through an archway towards her army. The atmosphere was gloomy and dark from all the ashes and you couldn't believe how much people she had killed.
She truly was her Father now. The Mad King.

Whilst she was yelling at her cheerful army, Rhaya clung to your leg and looked up at you with tearful eyes,
" My Mother is gone, isn't she?"

Your heart broke and you had to give her the truth, so you just nodded. She silently cried into your waist and you looked at Daenerys. She had caused so much pain and you didn't even notice Tyrion looking at the poor child in sympathy and regret. You knelt down to her height,
" I'll look after you now, alright? My name is
Y/n,"

Rhaya nodded and wiped her tears. Tyrion walked over to Daenerys and threw his badge on the ground, earning a betrayed look from Daenerys. The next thing you knew he was being taken away by her guards from her order.
You looked away from your Aunt, concealing your sobs. Her Aunt was long gone now.

You walked with Rhaya to the kitchen in the castle. It was an entire mess from the attack but still had some contained food on the shelves. You let Rhaya eat some fresh strawberries and raspberries before walking back up into the throne room to have a word with your Aunt.

The sight made your heart drop to your stomach.

Jon was standing over her corpse with a sword marked with her blood.

Drogon appeared through the broken wall and nudged Daenerys, trying to wake her up. He let out a high screech of pain and began to burn the iron throne to melted metal. He scooped Daenerys's body up and then flew away with her.

You fell to the ground from irresistible pain that you couldn't hide no longer. Even though it physically hurt, you somehow expected this. Jon walked over to you, seeing your endless tears of pain and apologised, his dark brown eyes showing guilt and regret. You shook your head and stood back up, wiping them with your sleeve,
" It's alright. I knew it was going to happen. My Aunt died a long time ago,"

You picked up Rhaya and sat her on your waist as you flew back to Winterfell with your dragons.
