All through the night I was fuming. Tossing and turning in the bed as much as I could though it was of no use to me. My things had arrived too early in the morning. Exactly at five am in the morning the butler had dropped off things at my door with a not so subtle knock informing me that breakfast would be served at eight am in the morning where I would be accompanied by Mr. Kraver himself. Wasn't it a topping on the ice, especially after last night?

The breakfast itself had been nothing but bland. All I got was a warning that I shouldn't interfere with his plans and this was something for everyone's good. However I was still unable to understand that how could it be for my own good. What good was in it there for me or for Daniel?

Why weren't we able to see any crisis? Why couldn't I see smoke anywhere at all? I just sat in front of him like a prim and proper person without making any remarks. There was no use of it. In the end, I was in debt to him and hence I would listen. I didn't want to lose the trust and faith he had in me. Though he was crushing me with his words but I could sense he was more disturbed than he ever was. I needed to have faith in him, even if it was really hard in times like this.

"You look lost," I heard from behind. Turning around I saw Daniel coming in my office with two cups of Starbucks. Unlike me he was late to turn up to office and two Starbucks behind. I eyed the two empty Starbucks on the table and then him. He surely got the message but just settled down on one of the chairs with the cups at the desk.

"Why are you bringing me coffee?" Daniel usually never got me coffee. According to him it was a menial task not meant for him at all. Neither did he cook for me nor help me in same until and unless he wanted something. I was sure him bringing me coffee was just a subtle way to ask me for something. He looked at me with a finger under his chin, more like analyzed me or my mood.

"You didn't sleep well," he quoted picking his cup of coffee.

"While you surely slept like a baby," he smiled at my words.

"I was too dead tired to think about anything," he paused and took a sip of his coffee. "Unlike you I had been sent off to a restaurant where I was to sit and hear some boring conversations about European countries. I was ordered to go on a date with that woman and I was bored to death." I could surely understand why he had brought the coffee. he just wanted to soften the blow. Did he really think that a cup of coffee would calm my anger? He went on a date with that man stealing bitch and I was supposed to be fine with it.

The image of angry Mr. Kraver flashed through my mind. I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes. His words were still crowding my mind. He just wanted to put me in my place.

"Leave," I snapped at him. All the anger that I had burning up from Mr. Kraver's words and after knowing that he had gone on a date with her, I could surely due a great damage to our relationship in this state.

"What?" Daniel confusingly asked.

"I asked you to leave, Daniel." I sat a little straighter looking straight into his eyes. "It would be better for both of us right now if you would leave. A lot has happened between the time you left me with your grandfather and now and my poor mind would like to take some time to process all of this because truth be told I'm pretty angry. More like messed up and raging on the inside," I added trying to keep my emotions in control.

"I know you had been bored with her but sadly I didn't have a very pleasant evening last night. In addition to that I had a very sleepless night while you had been sleeping pleasantly, I'm just assuming you did," I gave him a sarcastic smile as he sat there with an annoyed face. He gave put a sigh looking away from me.
