(Maya's POV)

I was helping my dad bake some donuts a customer had ordered when I heard a knock on the window in front of me.

I looked up to see Rory looking quite panicked.

I motioned that he'd have to wait a second and ran to the door.

"Maya? Where are you going?" My dad asked as I opened the door.

"I forgot my friend asked for me to meet them earlier. I'll be back!" I said, not exactly lying, but it just wasn't fully true.

I woke up Kippie, who was asleep in my bag, in case of emergency.

I ran to the back of the house and ducked under the window Rory was knocking on earlier, so my dad didn't see me.

"Rory? What happened?" I asked.

"It's Rachel! I- I can't take this! We have to call the other Glitter Warriors!" Rory shouted, flinging his tiny arms up and down.

"Calm down! What happened!" I insisted.

"Ira's at her house! Again! And- and she's just treating him like he's a friend and not an enemy!" Rory shouted angrily.

"Ira? Why?" Kippie asked, finally waking up.

"I don't know! Rachel told me to just stay in her room. She also said something else, I think he might have spent the night!" Rory cried.

"Woah! Hey! Calm down, we'll figure it out!" I said emphatically, pulling Rory into a hug.

I understood that this hurt Rory, but I felt like Rachel getting along with Ira could be a good thing!

Regina switched sides because I became her friend! For a little...

"Hey, Kippie can you can the others to meet us at our usual meeting spot?" I asked.

"Yeah.."

*time skip*

We were sitting around a picnic table as Rory explained his story.

"So— wait- Rachel had Ira at her house, again.
But he wasn't hurt?" Mackenzie asked.

"That's unacceptable!!" Natalie yelled, luckily there was no one around to hear.

The weather was harsher today, and not many people wanted to be outside in that kind of weather.

Other than little kids, who wouldn't have understood and weren't close enough to hear.

"Did you ask why she was letting him be there?" Clara asked, "Maybe there was another reason?"

"No! She said that he was downstairs, and I couldn't go down there unless I was in human form. She said he wouldn't understand- ..something! if I in pixie form!" Rory said.

"Does he know you're a pixie?" Lance asked.

"I-.. I didn't think of that..." Rory said, now thinking hard.

"That could be why!" Kippie said.

"What?" Natalie asked.

"She has a point." Clara looked at Rory.

Even I was confused. What are they getting at? I thought as I moved closer in interest.

Rory looked at Clara and Kippie, then back to Clara, with a confused look.

"Oh!" Mackenzie exclaimed, "If Ira doesn't know you're a pixie..."

"..Then he probably doesn't know Rachel's Glitter Diamond!!" I shouted, catching on.
