"It's not that I'm mad, he seems nice, I just wish you had told me sooner.." Ryoko was saying later that day.

Ira had already left, probably so Bel, Marmo, and Regina weren't looking for him.

"I'm sorry. I wanted to, but there was so much going on, I just couldn't find a time to tell you.." Rachel apologized for the 32nd time.

"Your dad's coming home tomorrow, and I'm afraid you'll have to be the one to tell him." Ryoko said. Of course Yuuzou would be mad that Rachel had a "boyfriend" at fifteen, even it was a little more a situationship than a relationship.

"Okay.." Rachel looked away, scared about telling her dad.

"It's almost 10:00, and you have school tomorrow, so go ahead and get ready for bed." Ryoko stood up, leaving the room.

"Okay.." Rachel got up and headed upstairs.

"A new song? That's so cool!! Can I be the first to listen to it?" Maya was asking Mackenzie as they walked to class.

"That'd be great!! You could even help me with advice!" Mackenzie smiled, "Hey, we still have ten minutes, I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick."

"Okay! I'll go with you!" Maya said and turned down the hall with Mackenzie into the bathroom.

"Hmm, I don't think anyone's in here." Mackenzie said, "Hello?"

There was no response.

"Okay, cool. So, like I was saying on the phone last night, before my phone died," Maya started, "maybe we should tell Rachel to be careful that she doesn't get a weak spot for Ira, I mean, not that I'm against her being attracted to him, we just can't put her to blame if we lose."

"That's fair, and I understand that was what Natalie was getting at, I just think she was a little harsh about it." Mackenzie agreed.

It was silent for a moment before Mackenzie opened the stall and moved to wash her hands.

"Ugh, who's writing on the mirror again?" Mackenzie grabbed a paper towel and wiped off the fowl sentence on the mirror.

"I really need to do something about that.." Maya shook her head.

"Alright, let's go to class before we're late." Mackenzie opened the door for Maya.

"Oh, we still have five minutes." Maya said, even though she walked through the door and into class.

Maya set her stuff down on her desk and smiled as Mackenzie sat next to her, then Maya looked forward to Rachel.

"Where have you been, Rach?" Maya asked.

"I was doing some last minute studying." Rachel responded, smiling to Maya.

"Oh, okay." Maya smiled back.

(:Time skip:) _:lunch:

"Ugh, I still wish Clara went to school with us." Mackenzie groaned as we sat at our table.

"I agree, but she has her own reasons." Rachel nodded.

"Uhm... hey, don't want to interrupt anything, but all the other tables are taking up by random idiots, so can I sit here?" The girls turned to look at a curly blonde girl with sky blue eyes.

"That's a bit harsh, but of course!" Maya smiled, "What's your name?"

"Silver." She answered.

"Nice to meet you!" Maya smiled.

Rachel looked at Silver, feeling a weird sense of familiarity, but shook it off and smiled as well.

Silver sat next to them, seeming grateful for them letting her sit there, but she was obviously not very talkative.

After a while, the bell rang, and everyone picked up their stuff to go back to classes.

(:time skip:) _:end of the school day

Rachel was walking home with Maya. Mackenzie had left with Davi already, so the two were alone like they used to be.

"So... wait- you're trying to say that is cool about everything going on?" Rachel was saying, looking confused.

"She said she was," Maya shrugged, "but it's possible she was just trying to fit in."

"Right, because, after everything," Rachel started, "I didn't think she would be happy if she were to hear me and Ira were even friends."

"I don't think sh—"

Maya was cut off by Kippie's head popping out of Maya's bag and yelling: "I hear a dark heartbeat!! That way!"

Rachel and Maya started running in the direction Kippie pointed in, running into Clara after a second.

"This way!" Clara pulled them into an alley so they could transform, then pulled them in another direction.

They ran into a giant vacuum Distain.

"Oh, great," Glitter Diamond sighed.

"Great indeed. Don't you like it, Heart?" They saw Regina standing atop the Distain, grinning madly.

"Regina!!" Glitter Heart gasped, her eyes lighting up.

"Don't give me that love-doki-doki-heartbeat nonsense!!" Regina groaned, "I. Hate. It!!!"

The Distain hurled at them, sucking in the air so fast, it made some of the girls slide.

"Sorry we're late!" Glitter Spade shouted as her and Glitter Ace ran in, Glitter Spade throwing a kick at them Distain that knocked Regina off-balance.

"Ugh!!!" Regina shouted, shooting a dark beam of energy at Glitter Spade, but Glitter Clover blocked it with her defenses.

"You don't have to do this, Regina!" Glitter Heart cried.

"But I want to," Regina grinned, "and maybe you will, too!" She shouted as she threw dark beams at Glitter Heart as well.

Glitter Heart managed to dodge them, while the other girls kept the Distain busy.

Eventually, Glitter Diamond had frozen the Distain, and shouted: "Heart! Now!"

Glitter Heart purified the Distain, the purified heart flying away.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Regina screeched, teleporting away.

"She really is back," Glitter Heart sighed.
