Life as the chief's daughter? Could be unbearable to say the least, having to deal with the constant stress of Slugworth demanding my dad on what to do. But, it's been even more tedious since one Mr. Willy Wonka came into town with his chocolate creations I've been banned from even trying. I've even been banned from getting near the guy, let alone trying anything he creates.

"Dad, really? You can't just go around harassing the guy! What has he even done to deserve it? Just because Slugworth gives you tons of chocolates? It's dirty, dad." He eyed me for a brief moment with a sudden sigh of annoyance, but knew I was correct in what I was saying. He knew I didn't care for what he did, and eventually knew he would go down for it. I always tried warning him how much of a snake Slugworth and his goons truly are. But he simply wouldn't hear of the matter.

"It's my job to protect the Galerie. And you know me. Chocolate is my weakness." Riding around in his official car for the night on patrol for the man himself, felt like a complete failure of a career for my dad. I could see it in his eyes every single day. But yet, he was so far gone in this dirty web of evil things Slugworth executed every single day.

"That's your problem. Slugworth is your weakness. He breaks you down. He threatens you constantly. But you still give in...." I looked out the window with my eyes suddenly glued on a tall figure near the fountain in the middle of the Galerie, recognizing the top hat right away. I knew dad had been called out here as a result. And I didn't like the sound of it.

"Stay here. I'll be right back." He said before exited the vehicle, my sighed filling the air around me like a plea for help. I waited and waited as I watched, before he suddenly dunked Willy's head into the fountain, my eyes widening in utter fear. That's when I couldn't stand it anymore.

"DAD!!! STOP IT!!!" I pulled him away from Willy immediately, looking at him in a totally different light. He wasn't my dad anymore. He was simply gone within the monster that is the cartel. And I felt it deep within my heart, like the most excruciating pain in existence. Like..... I had already lost him.

"I told you to stay in the car. You can't be around this guy. I warned you." But my eyes finally focused on a drenched Willy Wonka and I felt horrible for him. He seems so..... so innocent. Like he's too sweet for this entire world. It doesn't deserve him what so ever. I could see the thank you in his eyes, my smile earning one from him once my dad stalked away in complete annoyance.

"I'm so sorry about him. He's.... not usually this bad. I swear. Unfortunately though, I'm his daughter. But I swear, I won't be dunking your head in freezing water!" He softly chuckled as he ruffled his hair about to fix it slightly, noting the chocolate curls he sported. Fitting.

"It's not your fault. I'm sorry i apparently caused a conflict. I just want to share my chocolate with the world. But no one gets it. At least, not him. Not Slugworth. Not any of them...." We sat atop the fountain with my eyes solely focused on him, seeing the longing for a brighter future in his sad eyes.

"Don't worry about them, okay? You will get that chance. I can feel it. Trust me." He finally looked back to me with a hint of a smile upon his very handsome face, searching me for an inkling of deceit, but finding none. Only pure curiosity for the man I'd heard so much about over the course of a week or so. But finally meeting him, confirmed what I believed for myself. He's so gentle. Kind.

"I do. Somehow, I actually do. And I'm glad we have had the pleasure of meeting!" His sudden spark of enthusiasm had me chuckling right along with him, our fingertips gently touching amongst the cold stone of the fountain. And in my heart, I knew I finally found someone who would understand. Someone that would be in my life forever.
