I stumbled from the sheer force of the shove that had been inflicted on me from the moment I left Scrubitt's horrid place, the usual rich men I'd have to deliver clothes to always belittling me as if I wasn't human. But merely a piece of trash beneath their feet.

"Please stop!" I screamed with all my might, but another simply shoved me into a wall directly behind me, my head throbbing from the connection of the brick wall and my skull.

"You'll never amount to anything in your miserable life. I hope you know this. You're rather pretty. But that's all you got going for you." They suddenly stopped their assault upon me that even the police would never stop because they would simply be payed off to let it happen. My eyes watered with pain and embarrassment overtaking me.

"Are you okay miss?? What happened to you?!" A young man exclaimed, who appeared to be around my age. Curly brown hair that fit him perfectly, a top hat that fit his style, and a overcoat wore down but clearly had sentimental value to him, carrying a briefcase along with a cane.

"The usual run of the mill in the Galerie for me is all that happened. The usual rich people in this place are absolutely horrible to anyone lower down than they are..... The rich beat the needy." He gently reached for my hand with a sad expression amongst his face, noting I was slumped against the wall in some pain of my own from what had occurred. I softly extended my own hand to his with a little smile forming on my lips from how kind he seemed to be.

"I'm so sorry this has happened to you. But don't let it bother you! Things will get better. I'm Willy, Willy Wonka. I just came into town because I've always wanted to see the Galerie Gourmet. I'm a chocolate maker." He helped me get my bearings once more, before giving me a piece of chocolate he pulled out of his hat.

"Then you've most certainly come to the right place. Maybe you can make it better here. I'm (Y/N)." And that was the day I made a lifelong friend. His chocolate he gave me was absolutely delicious. So I did anything I could possibly think of to help him along his journey since he helped me when I was down. He was certainly angered when I was picked on again, being with me the next time it did happen. He defended me in any way possible, scaring the men off eventually.

"I swear you're too good to me Willy Wonka." We simply gazed upon one another under the brief lighting of the cold streets i had called home for years.

"That's because you're too sweet for this to happen to. I would never leave you behind to suffer. Ever!" That's the day I knew I loved him. That he was it for me. He was like a hero in the night who saved me. In more ways than one. Eventually, things would end up better. Life would look up in the Galerie and we'd make a life together out of the darkness it had been born in. We found our light together. In each other.

"Can you believe it? A shop, a new home. All because we never gave up on each other. You never gave up on me." Willy softly said into my ear as we sat underneath the moonlit sky, his arms wrapped gently around me.

"Of course I never would. You have a dream. A beautiful dream. And I'm more than thankful we made it happen." And we just enjoyed each other's company as the night passed us by in complete peace. I never knew that one night, would turn into a whole life with my now husband. That I had found my partner who I loved more than anything in this world. Life was certainly funny like that.
