"You can turn off the light now, Mum" Barry Allen, our currently ten-year old deuteragonist, said as his mother smiled, turning off the night light as she closed the door.
"Our slugger's growing up already," Henry Allen, Barry's father said as he wiped away a fake tear, only to yelp as his wife hit him in the shoulder.
"Grow up already Henry..." Nora said as they peeked into the room opposite Barry's room, where a late addition to the Allen family, one-year-old Dan, slept peacefully, dressed in a Harry Potter onesie.
"Finally!" Nora mumbled under her breath with a small smile.
"Kiddo has way too much energy, even more than Barry." Henry said as the couple closed the door silently, relieved the latest addition to the Allen family had begun to adopt a more adult-friendly sleep pattern.
Henry brought out a bottle of champagne as Nora brought out the glasses, ready to destress after a long day at their respective offices.
Before they could begin to talk about anything, the champagne began to rise out of the glasses, just as Dan began to cry.
"Are you-" Henry was interrupted as two streaks of lightning began to surround Nora, the yellow and red lightning intertwining with each other and moving through the living room, destroying everything in sight.
"Mum? Dad?" a young voice said as Dan continued to cry loudly. Barry appeared at the bottom of the stairs, holding Dan who continued to cry loudly.
"Get out of here Barry!" Henry yelled at Barry, just as he was snatched up by a sudden cloud, which floated out of the house to drop Barry and Dan a couple blocks away, as the cloud reformed to form a young man in a black and red designed suit, with a black domino mask and hood covering his hair.
"Where are you taking us?" Barry cried out as he tried to shield Dan with his body.
"Calm down, Barry, we're the good guys!" the mystery man said, "I can't tell you my name, but we're here to protect you from a crazy psycho, so you need to chill, capisce?"
"Still shell shocked, Barry nodded as the mystery man nodded, and they fell into a somewhat awkward silence.
After five minutes, the mystery man put a hand to his ear as he nodded, disappearing with a burst of yellow flames.
Barry looked around in shock, before running in the direction of his home, not knowing his life will be forever changed by the events that occurred in his home.
A/N: Hey everyone! Was watching the Flash recently, and I just miss the older seasons so much that I had to write a fic about it. It took me a while to fit my usual teenage OCs in, but I got a godsend in the form of Wally and Jesse, who will appear in the next chapter. That's partly where things kick in, so stay tuned!
