Small A/N: It's prolly gonna get confusing, so just putting it out now. Barry calls Henry 'Dad' and Joe by name, while Dan calls Henry by name and Joe 'Dad'. I feel that this is more appropriate, considering that Joe did raise Dan here, and Dan would have visited Henry, they just don't have the same bond. I feel like I'm over-explaining, but maybe I'm not.

A few minutes later...

The Cortex

"What were you thinking?!" Dad and Henry yelled as I shrugged, not really knowing how to respond. I wasn't really feeling much remorse over it. What I did feel, was a healthy amount of self-preservation from nightmare fuckers that ran around with blue lightning.

"The job needed to be done, didn't it?" I asked.

"Yes, but not by a teenager!" Dad yelled, "You're not even allowed to drink for Christ's sake!"

"The perfect age demographic for a lotta hero careers to start," I said sagely as Cisco, who was focusing on something on the screens and trying his best to stay out of it, shot me finger guns discreetly.

"Lord give me patience..." both of them mumbled in unison.
"Look," I said, thinking up a compromise, "I admit I went in over my head when I faced Zombie of Steel on my own, but you guys can't expect me to just...not use this power. The  Speed Force, as huge of an arse that it is, chose me for some  bloody reason that Barry, Jesse, Wally and I are all part of, whether you like it or not."
Before either of them could say anything, Barry appeared at the entrance to the Cortex and nodded towards the entrance.
"Stay here," Dad said as I nodded, and he and Henry went to talk to Barry.

"Whatcha working on?" I asked Cisco.
"Not much, just checking if the dark matter wave created any other metas," Cisco said as I ran to his back, looking over his shoulder at the complex algorithm he was running. I was no slouch in either physics or coding, but it lost me immediately.

"What's it like helping Barry with his side gig?" I asked, trying to make small talk, and I was bored beyond comprehension. I wasn't really bothered by the convo the three of them were having, 'cause there was no way I wasn't gonna help, and there wasn't going to be much they could do about that.

"It's not bad. I get to work with an actual superhero, and get to name these guys as Barry kicks their-hold on, what?" Cisco said as he looked at the results.
"What's going on?" I asked as he looked it over again, running the algorithm again, and staring at the results, before finally pressing a button and speaking into the mic.
"Guys, get up here now! We got a problem."
⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
"What's going on Cisco?" Barry asked once everyone assembled in the Cortex, including Jesse(who woke up after Barry did some voodoo Speed Force shit on her) and Wally.

"I was running some checks on the effects of the mini explosion to give you your speed. You know, to make sure we don't get more metas," Cisco explained as he brought up a map of a small area round S.T.A.R Labs.

"We contained the explosion Ramon, remember?" Dr. Wells said as Cisco pointed to the three teens in the room.

"Clearly not well enough Harry," Cisco said, "the point is, we didn't contain it as well as we hoped."

As he said that, the map of the Labs and a small area around the facility lit up in different colours.

"I'm guessing that's not an infrared scan?" Wally asked as Cisco shook his head.

"Try dark matter scan that extends to the freeway," Cisco said.

"So we're looking at how many possible metas?" Dad asked.
