Wedding day..

Arhaan's pov.

Finally, I'm about to tie the knot with the love of my life, my lady luck. Can't wait to become one with her!

I really want to catch a glimpse of my sweetheart in her wedding attire. That's why I tried calling Vishakha, but she's probably busy decking up for me... or maybe fighting with her eyeliner.

"Bhai!!!! aap taiyaar hai?" ?" Vansh bursts in.

"What do you think?" I reply, trying to maintain my composure amidst the chaos.

"Taiyaar toh lag rahe ho aap, par dimaag ka GPS toh gayab hai," Vansh teases, dodging a flying sock from me.

Arrey Arhan beta.. kitne pyaare lag rahe ho shaadi ke liye taiyaar hoke! Abhi toh lagta hai bas baccha hi baccha ho, aur ab dulhe banne wale ho!" Mom exclaimed, getting all emotional.

"Mom, it's not like I'm going to Mars! Just getting married, yaar. Why the waterfall of tears?" Aur Laut ke Ghar hi aaunga I teased.

Haan haan, bhabhi,Arhan ne toh abhi shaadi ka trailer hi dekha hai; asli picture toh yahi dekhne ko milegi, humare ghar mein!" chachi quipped, .

"Who said I'm crying? I'm just thrilled to have a new partner-in-crime to gossip with all day long!" Mom retorts, earning nods of agreement from chachi and chuckles from everyone else.

Come on, everyone, the clock's ticking! It's wedding o'clock," papa urged, sounding like a conductor trying to get the orchestra in tune.

Women, always so sentimental, right?!" Chachu chimed in, earning him a playful smack from chachi.

"What did you just say? What have us ladies done now?" chachi asked, her voice rising in mock outrage.

"Who was the one shedding all the tears and drama?" Chachu teased, a mischievous twinkle in his eye.

"Oh, please! I wasn't crying; I just had a dust particle the size of a boulder lodged in my eye," chachi retorted, her comedic timing on point, sparking laughter from the group.

Chachu grinned mischievously, "Well, you know what they say, behind every successful man is a surprised woman!"

This earned him a round of laughter, and chachi playfully rolled her eyes, "And behind every surprised woman is a man who thinks he's being funny!"

Chachu shrugged with a grin, "Hey, someone's got to keep the humor alive in this sea of emotions!"

As everyone laughed, Chachu added with a wink, "Besides, if we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at?"

Enough we are getting late..after all this all groom's fault

"How is it my fault?" I asked, feigning innocence.

"Just get married, you'll find out," papa said, with a smirk that hinted at years of marital wisdom.

Author's pov:
As the groom's family was expected anytime soon, Vishakha's mother reminded her to get ready on time, knocking softly on her door. Not receiving any response, she assumed Vishakha must have heard her.

"Yaar Mishi, I hope Vishu doesn't mess up anything today," Akriti said, her tone tinged with worry.

"Relax, baby. Vishu adores Arhaan Pratap. She wouldn't do anything to spoil his big day," Mishti reassured her friend, trying to ease her anxiety.

"But what if..." Akriti started, her mind racing with worst-case scenarios.

"No 'what ifs,' alright? Now, come on, let's quickly fix my saree," Mishti urged, trying to divert Akriti's attention.
