The phone's ringing shattered the silence...

Hello?" Arhaan answered, his voice tinged with curiosity.

"Hi, can we meet?" a mysterious voice said over the phone.

'Who is this? Where are you?" Arhaan's heartbeat quickened.

"I'll text you my location. Meet me there tomorrow," the voice replied, dripping with secrecy.

Before Arhaan could ask anything else, the call ended abruptly. He put down the phone, his mind swirling with questions, then turned back to Mishti. He laid beside her, hugging her from behind, and kissed her gently.

"I love you, my love," Arhaan whispered, trying to shake off the lingering unease.

Mishti stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open. "Who was that?" she asked sleepily.

Arhaan hesitated, unsure how much to share. "Just a call," he said softly, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Nothing important."

But the truth was, he couldn't stop thinking about it. The voice had been familiar, yet distant. Someone from his past? A friend? An enemy? His mind raced with possibilities.

Morning came too quickly. Arhaan's phone buzzed, and he saw the promised text with the location. It was an old cafe of meerut..

"Do you have to go?" Mishti asked, sensing his unease as he got dressed.

Arhaan nodded, forcing a reassuring smile. "It won't take long. I'll be back soon."

He kissed her goodbye and headed out, the sense of foreboding growing stronger with each step. The drive felt interminable, every red light and traffic jam adding to his anxiety.

I parked my car outside the small, dimly lit café. The location from the text message had led me here, to a place that seemed oddly familiar yet distant. I took a deep breath, trying to calm the nerves that had been building since the mysterious phone call. Pushing the door open, a bell tinkled above me, announcing my arrival.
