Croissant and Cocktails: The Sex Tales of a Frenchman in London

Introduction

Hey guys, it's Antoine, and here is a little introduction to whoever will read this. First of all, welcome. I am pleased you found your way to my words.

I have been writing since I could hold a pen. They were fantasy stories that I could play with my friends when I was a child, but this memoir is a bit different and has been written over the years of my twenties. The magic years where everything in adulthood is meant to be discovered, and yes, that includes moments of loneliness, success, and failure.

As it is the first time I'm publishing, I am not sure yet in which order all of these columns and stories will come out, but I will try to keep it easy and in order. Even if I like the idea of a puzzle 🤠

Now, let's go back to 2021...

A few weeks ago, I was talking with my best friend about death, following my uncle's passing. Death is a topic that we don't often talk about, in general with people, and I was explaining to my best friend that my grandmother was writing journals for almost fifty years, which we both found incredibly great. A bunch of memories from the past; it's 2021 and she keeps writing them absolutely every day. My best friend told me that his mother was actually doing the same. We found the idea of a life writing very interesting. One day, they won't be there anymore and through their writings we will be able to connect with them and understand them again and forever.

Be ready for a great deal of stories. It's going to be about love, heartbreak, life, death, disappointment, success, and everything that makes life what it is. A succession of events where we grow, learn, create, and destroy patterns but also   an ode to all  the people we meet and who change our lives for the better or the worst.
