Chapter - 1

Lia Raven

I was walking in the hallway with my friends. Gossiping and laughing our hearts out. Raiden was having his time with his friends. Sudden contact with that someone. Ughh...

I kept saying to myself, "Our eyes met... THEY MET!" That feeling of one-sided love-

Couples of seconds later, we broke it. His smile faded away. "Does he hate me that much? Am I that much unlovable that his smile faded away?" I sighed...

We walked past each other not looking back. Why would we though-

Bell rang. I always sat by the window with my best friend Skylar. I call her Skylar cause I love it. Others call her Mira. It was their PE class and our mathematics. The view was very evident from my seat to the basketball court. The lecture kept going and my eyes was fixed on that fine guy. Raiden. What have you done to me? I was not supposed to like you. In fact, hate. You were a jerk to me since the beginning.

Ughh he plays so well. How could he look so good! Oh fuck! I should focus on the class. Hell, no I CAN'T!

As I kept looking at him and doodling on the notebook for nothing, the lecture gradually ended. Ms. Grayson noticed my unusual behavior as I am a very obedient student and asked me to meet her. Oh, hell no-

"Lia, is something wrong?" I nodded no. "Dear, you seem so off these days. Are you okay?" I replied, "I am really fine, ma'am. Don't worry. If something's wrong, you would be the first one to know." DAMN I couldn't obviously tell her that it was because of her brother's son AKA her nephew. She dismissed me and I walked to the classroom while deep in thought.

Raiden was the only son of the family, from the dad's side and Ms. Grayson adored him a lot. He also stayed with her and I take private lessons from her for which we frequently see each other. But the last few days, I feel like he didn't like my presence at all. I mean, did he ever? No, I guess.

Reaching the classroom, I saw the whole room was empty. I went to my desk and saw a note on my notebooks-

"My Sunshine, I'm in the restroom and I'll wait for you there. It's a free class so come quickly then we might leave together. The others are with me too...

Your Sky"

"Yeah, Skylar." I let out a chuckle and went to the restroom.

Why do we need to pass their class to go to the restroom? I hate this-

Passing their room, I saw it was empty too. Maybe some were there but I didn't find the courage to see who... I don't wanna look desperate. But the voice that were coming were surely Kai's, Adrian's and Raiden's. When I was close enough to pass their room, I could hear my name. Maybe I heard it wrong or maybe right. I didn't give much attention and entered the girl's restroom.

"Lili, you're here" Skylar came to me like a baby with hands open. I hugged her back and the others approached. Adeline stated, "We'll be going to the auditorium now. They said to be in 10 minutes. You guys should come too." Skylar gave a smile and said, "You guys start first. We'll be coming." They nodded and as soon as they left, she asked me, "What was it about?" I asked in confusion, "What?... Oh... yeah, about how I was." I washed my hands and started telling the whole convo with my lovely teacher. We walked out and was on our way too.

"Sky- I couldn't obviously tell it's because of her neph..." I couldn't process my word out because I turned to my right and saw him staring at me... Did he fucking hear it?

"What's wrong..." Skylar looked to the direction I looked and said assuring me that he was JUST looking not because he heard it.

I let out a sigh and walked with her to the auditorium.
