Chapter - 8

Raiden Grayson

I was too focused on her. I went in my room and got fresh. After taking a shower, I lied on my bed and scrolled through my phone. She posted something. I clicked on her story and saw the view of nature. "She loves nature or maybe photography. Both I guess?" I muttered to myself.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK AM I DOING...

"Raiden!" I heard aunt calling me. "YEAH?" I shouted. "Come down to eat." she told. I got up from my bed and went downstairs.

"What's for dinner, aunt?" I asked. My aunt replied, "Some beating for leaving without me." "My sweet aunt~" I said. "That won't work." She replied. "I forgot about last night, aunt. I wouldn't leave if I had remembered. I'm so sorry. I was scared to be late." I mumbled. "Okay, okay. Sit down for dinner now." She said and served the dinner. After dinner, we sat down to watch a movie. It was time since we spent time together. It was either me being busy or her. "What do you wanna watch, aunt?'' I questioned. "Let's watch '20th Century girl'. My colleagues kept saying it was a wholesome movie." She replied. I nodded and searched up the movie on our Netflix account.

The movie started. The movie was very emotional. It had a high-school love story theme. But the male lead died. Like it's a big thing to explain. But I liked it.

I could hear aunt sob while watching. "Are you crying?" I asked her. She replied while sobbing, "It's just... it's so emotional..." Well, my aunt is very soft-hearted. She cries while watching movies even. By chance, I took a picture of the movie with my mobile. I posted it on my insta story. The movie ended gradually. My aunt left the room with puffy red eyes. She got too emotional. I needed to arrange the living room then go to my own room. I started to arrange it. I turned off the TV, removed the chips packets and glasses, wiped the table and brushed the sofa and floor. I went to my room and reviewed my story viewers.

"Ohh... she liked the story." I muttered to myself. No no no no no. I hit my head and start studying. After studying for a while, I start playing with coco, my cat. She was in the vet for some days. I brought her today as she recovered. With coco in my arms, I fell asleep.

6 a.m.

My alarm rings. I slowly opened my eyes and saw coco jumping on me. She loves that. I took my mobile and saw that today's Sunday. "I can sleep more." I slept again with coco. I got a call which woke me up. Well, it was 8 a.m.

I picked up the call. "Yes, Adrian." I yawned while answering my call. He loudly said out of excitement, "Wanna hangout?" "Where?" I asked while getting up from my bed. "Just meet us at 4 p.m. in front of the park. We'll be there." He declined the call. "What the-" I couldn't finish my word. I got fresh, went downstairs and fed coco.

"You're awake?" Aunt asked while drinking water. "Adrian woke me up. Oh, right. They want to hang out." I replied. "Yeah go. When will you come back?" she added. I replied, "By 7. I will leave before 4." She hummed and said to be back on time.

I loved cooking and I was about to make the breakfast today. I toasted come bread and warmed some milk. Then I cut some tomatoes in thin slices and add eggs and sprinkle salt and pepper. Then after mixing it, I fried it and cut it into even half. With bread on the side, with a spoon, fork and milk, I organized the table. And we started eating.

After eating, I took a shower. It was 10:30 a.m. now. "I have a lot of time." I took coco with me and went to the nearby park which was our meeting spot today.

I saw some familiar figures coming towards this direction. Oh, it's Lia and Mira. I went to them and asked, "Lia, Mira, what are you doing here?" Mira replied, "Lia needed some fresh air." "Oh, may I know what hap-" Lia cut me off, "Is it your cat?" "Yes. Her name is coco." I replied. Lia's face brightened up, "Can I hold her?" I replied, "Sure." I gave her coco and she seemed so happy to see her. "She's cute." Lia said. I chuckled at her words. After some moments, she gave her back to me. "We need to go." she said and left with Mira.

I was sitting with coco for some more moments. It was now 12 p.m. I went back home and ate lunch with aunt. Then I took a nap before going. I set the alarm at 3:30 p.m.

The alarm rings. I wook up and washed my face. Then I changed back to my hoodie and trouser. I took my mobile, camera, wallet and go downstairs. Reaching the park shocked me.

What is Lia and Mira doing her with Adrian and Kai? I went towards them and Adrian exclaimed, "Hey, man! We quintet are going to the race go karts today!!" "What the hell man-" I couldn't finish my sentence and they dragged me with them.
