Chapter - 2

Raiden Grayson

I was talking with Kai and Adrian. We were a good student trio. Well, obviously not more than what... Lia.

We got a free class and was instructed to go to the auditorium but we stayed and talked for a bit. Sudden change of topic, it went from some weird chicks to Lia. About "studies" obviously. With that sudden topic change I saw Lia Raven, through the corner of my eyes, walking towards somewhere. But, not my headache.

"Guys, she might hear us." I said to my friends. They looked at me in confusion and after realizing, "Oh, Lia?" said Adrian. I hummed in response. "That's not our concern." said Adrian. Kai replied in a serious tone, "Well, let's just stop. She is our friend too." I asked smiling, "Our?" Kai replied, "Me and Adrian. Not you duh." I nodded my head. We were talking for like some 5 more minutes and we should be going to the auditorium by now.

"We should lea..." without even letting out my words I heard "her neph" nephew? Me? And saw Lia with Mira. She looked at me shocked.

I mean I was the only nephew of any teachers in school but it might not be me cause there are hundredths of people.

She left as soon as she saw me. Kai and Adrian were processing about the sudden silence. Adrian asked, "What's wrong?" I replied, "Nothing. Let's go now or we'll be late."

We left the class slowly too. As we were walking, we saw the two sitting on a bench of the basketball court and drinking some stuff. Chocolate milk, I guess...

Kai walked to them and asked, "Lili, Sky, why are you sitting? Won't you two be late?" Lia replied, "I'll tell you when you are alone. Not in front of these two." Kai let out a giggle and said, "Fine." As soon as Adrian heard it, he went to them and said, "WTF I AM YOUR FRIEND TOO." Mira replied, "Not a friend like Kai. Whatever, we'll be going." They left after that.

"What the actual fuck was that?" Adrian cussed. I replied, "I mean, you're a snitch though. You talk to us like you aren't her friend. It would be right if it was me. Haha." Kai smiled at my words. "Raiden-" as soon as Adrian said my name, I saw my aunt or Ms. Grayson coming towards this way. "Oh fuck!" I tapped their hands and ran towards the auditorium. They also followed me seeing panicked.

"What happened, dude?" Kai asked out of breath cause it was a long way and only way to the auditorium. "I can't let my aunt see me bunking. She'll give a huge lecture." I said running. "Oh fuck, it's Ms. Grayson." Adrian said while running. We reached to the auditorium and seats were full. Luckily three seats were still empty but... they were beside Lia, in the second last row. Adrian and Kai hurriedly took the seats by keeping the empty seat beside Lia. Oh no- this is so uncomfortable.

I was in total shock. Seeing those two, Lia and Mira looked up and my eyes met Lia's. She has those glittery doe eyes. OH NO what am I thinking about- but that look of her had something in it... Love? Hate? Shocked? Nervousness? I don't know.

My aunt came inside and patted my shoulder to sit.

I went to the row and Kai tried to get up and give me his seat. I stopped him and said, "It's ok. I'll be taking this seat." I walk to the sit beside Lia and take my seat.

She had a notebook with a connected pen in her hand. I couldn't hide my wheeze. Is she really noting down that too? "Will you even write down what they'll say?" I asked her out of nowhere. "Huh... oh, no... if it's important, I'll. I keep it always with me." She replied. I added, "Oh... well, you miss the lectures nowadays..." "It's just I'm a bit busy... I'll attend again." She replied. I said, "Ok. Try not to miss them again. They're important, I guess? And aunt misses you a lot." She nodded and I gave her a smile.
